Liked: First time visitors. Fantastic resort. Great facilities and welcoming staff. On-site restaurant and bar was wonderful and we loved a dance to the live music. The soft play was one of the best we have been to. We cannot wait to visit again!
Disliked: Some loud music beyond 11:30pm.

Liked: Great on site facilities and the kids play area, along with live music at the bar, made for great fun for all the family.
Disliked: Not necessarily their fault but we had a pitch at the bottom of one of the sites, with all the rain, the grass wasn't cut short and there were large tyre groves in the soil so it meant uneven and wet flooring. I'm sure with dryer conditions it would be fine however if they knew this was a bad spot, it maybe should have just been closed off.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked: Good, clean facilities (use the newer shower block, not the toilets near the cafe, which are tiny!) Good food. Good activities. 1 car allowed next to a pitch + 'pup' tent. The pitches were on properly flat ground - always handy! Indoor washing up facilities with relatively hot water. Freezer available and electrical sockets for phone charging. Onsite activities were good and very well supervised (we did tree-tops/high ropes and air rifles). Staff everywhere were fantastic - friendly, helpful and good humoured. We usually do more basic, field-type camping, but actually really enjoyed having the facilities, cafe/bistro, bar and the live music. It was very different to our normal camping, but felt more like a holiday.
Disliked: Tent pitches were quite close together, though we were given an unofficial pitch which gave us more room. It's a resort type campsite, so could be quite noisy quite late. I have dropped one star on value for money as the activities were quite pricey.

Liked: This place is a true gem. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to provide an excellent stay. The fresh warm bakery products delivered by bike was a wonderful touch after a chilly night. Young kids are entertained from morning to night, soft play (extra fee), outside park, open space, adventure trail, they've got it covered. Older kids have plenty of activities too. Onsite there is a little shop for essentials and snacks. Bar and grill was great, lovely food, live music, indoor and outdoor seating perfect for all weather's.
