Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Huge piece of land, really well maintained, a lovely pub a short walk away, spacious, clean and well maintained facilities. Owner was very informative on arrival, decent fire pit and logs to purchase. Priced right. Didn’t make use of the walks around the area but guessing they were lovely
Disliked: Nothing, all was on par

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Another great stay at Palace farm. It’s a small, quiet and friendly campsite. Lots of play space in view of the tent for the kids to play and make new friends. Nice pub in walking distance. Clean toilets and hot showers. Fire pits to hire and a freezer for ice blocks. Everything we needed! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back again!!
Disliked: Only slight negative, and no fault of the owners, but someone stole our ice packs 😡 that’s just not the camping spirit!!!

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked: The site is located in a lovely part of Kent. The owners are very hospitable. told us which side of the site gets the sun in the morning / evening to allow us to choose. Provided free maps with suggested walking routes which was good fun. The toilets and showers where clean and not too busy. Fire pits with logs and kindling at reasonable prices. They take card payments. Kids loved playing in the tree line. Nice Pub in walking distance.

From the manager: Hi there, the toilets, showers and washing up area are cleaned between 3 and 6 times a day depending on occupancy levels. At the start of the season everything is re-painted including the floors. It is an outside facility and we don't aim to emulate hotel standards with dust, mud, leaves and grass regularly finding its way into the toilets and showers. During cleaning we have to deal with pee all around the toilets, blocked toilets due to excessive toilet paper and other non flushable products and even those who have a tummy upset and haven't managed to sit down before they erupt, it is a lovely job, we are always looking for keen volunteers if you are up for it?

Liked: Beautifully kept field Basic but clean and functional loos and washing up area Quiet location Relaxed and friendly check in
Disliked: No fault of campsite but did not have a good experience at local pub The Chequers. Unpleasant (loud sexist and explicit) punters and average(at best) food.
