Woodyhyde Campsite is a traditional and relaxed family site in the middle of the Isle of Purbeck peninsula in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You're a short distance from the village pubs of Langton Matravers and 20 minutes' walk to the ruins of Corfe Castle, and within easy reach of the award-winning beaches of Swanage and Studland. Set across 13 acres of open countryside, the park is bordered by the Swanage heritage steam railway line and there are several footpaths that lead direct from the site to the Purbeck Hills and the Jurassic Coast. Facilities include a well-stocked shop and off licence selling fresh and locally sourced produce. Free wifi is available. Friendly dogs are welcome in two out of three of the fields.

There are heaps of walks that that lead from Woodyhyde Campsite around the Purbeck countryside or along the spectacular Jurassic coastline and the South West Coast Path, and the nearby golden sandy beaches of Studland and Swanage provide plenty of options for water-based activities such as boating, diving and fishing. Visit the ruins of Corfe Castle, 20 minutes' walk away, or hop on a heritage steam locomotive at nearby Harmans Cross to take a six-mile scenic trip on Swanage Railway, passing the castle ruins and finishing at Swanage. Take the kids out on a day trip to visit rescue chimpanzees at Monkey World Centre; see the collection of tanks and armoured fighting vehicles at the Tank Museum; or pet animals at Putlake Adventure Farm.
