Liked: Touring pitches are great and well maintained. Beautiful park only downside is we would have liked a bit entertainment on. Plenty for kids to do. There is limited wifi but you can get it in the bar.

Liked: Chose this site for our annual bank holiday weekend camping trip with friends and their kids. The site was fab, lots of room for the kids to run about, woodland to explore and a huge park to play in. All our kids range from 3 to 12 but there was something for everyone. On our last night around 40 kids played some sort of war game across the site which was so lovely to see them all running and playing. There are even tree swings for them to play on. Shop is reasonably priced and facilities are regularly cleaned. Oh and a deer ran past our groups pitch!
Disliked: The leisure club told us 45 mins for takeaway food and we waited an hour and 40 minutes. Three separate orders went in one fter the other but came 15 mins apart. Prices are high for bar food but it was nice enough when we got it.

Liked: The staff in the shop on site.
Disliked: 1, The pitches flooded that myself and my family were on and like a mud bath, I stopped on this site some years ago and it was lovely, now just about all the trees have been cut down leaving it all open so the wind and rain made it feel like a terrible storm all the time. 2, The staff in the clubhouse were awful, the first day we all went up to use the swimming pool it wasn't open for the time stated of 2pm, we stud around trying to get the attention of the lass behind the counter put she just looked straight through us, after about 10 minutes of trying she finally spoke to myself and when I said we had come to go swimming she said it won't be long and we will have it open, we were still waiting half an hour later, when we did get in to the pool it was freezing and my daughter in law had to take my 18 month old granddaughter out and get he changed due to her shivering. 3, We couldn't go the next day as the hole clubhouse was closed, so we went the next day ,paid again and went in to find the jacuzzi/hot tub was closed this time but nothing was said when we paid and we would not of gone in if we had been told. 4, My final day but my son and daughter with my grandchildren still had two day of stay left decided I would travel back later and park up by the clubhouse so we could all play golf, it wasn't open and we were told they would have it open in an hour so we went into the local town for an hour ish but when we returned were then told it won't be open and had been closed since lock down by one member of staff but then told by another member of staff that it was closed because they couldn't cut the grass due to it being too wet. 5, With us having small children we took them to the park only to find it always flooded at the fenced entrance that was by us so we had to walk a long way round to get on the park and when we did it was water loged and had a small river running through it washing the tree bark away that they had on the ground.

Liked: Loved the pool, spotless toilets and shower facilities. The cafe offered a good menu, not expensive as some campsites monopolise. Well stocked shop with super friendly staff and a great horse trekking experience a minute away. Spacious pitch size minutes from the beach. WiFi isn't great with limited phone signal but that's no bad thing Nothing not to like.
