Liked: Pitches are great with own water tap.

Disliked: The country club owners think it is acceptable to also use the motorhome site as a goods yard and movie production site. In the evening we had dozens of artic trucks going back and forward inches from everones motorhomes and campervans etc, I counted one truck cab, do 7 trips back and forward with different movie set trailers. In total from 6pm to 11.15pm (yes almost midnight) we was having shaking rocking vans and loud trucks trundling past. To add to this, there was frequent queues at the tiny toilet block as half the production crews were using them also. We also spent the whole night with loud industrial generators whirring all night long. And at one point truck drivers shouting for entire site to hear at about 10.30pm. Come 6.10am and all those trucks and movie staff were up making noise and on their way out again, a raft of new smaller trucks and many cars streamed in, and many of last nights artic trucks started to leave, again inches from people attempting to sleep and relax. Between 6am and 7.30am we counted 34 vehicles, over a dozen were huge artic trucks. To top it off, we couldn't empty our full chemical toilet or grey waste in the morning as movie trucks were parked in the way with tailifts whirring and crew loading trucks with steel lighting gantries, banging and crashing a whirring before 7am. Meaning we now got to pay another local site to go and empty waste. You'd have a more peaceful stay in a motorway services. Id avoid at all costs.

Liked: Perfect for a stopover when travelling north of Glasgow over the Erskine Bridge. Site and facilities immaculate Fully serviced pitches

Disliked: The discreet signage, although in keeping with the rest of the country club, is a little too discreet and could be improved to direct you to the touring area which would avoid congesting the front car park.

Liked: Nice tidy interesting complex, with good facilities. No Expense spared on fittings and installations.

Disliked: On arrival we were a little confused whether we were at the correct location or not. Luckily before we moved on another Campervan turned up and we followed it in . On closer examination afterwards it was signposted amongst other directions. But an easier noticeable campsite direction sign would be helpful.
