Camping Cave is a site on the edge of Lake Iseo in the Franciacorta wine region, 20 kilometres north of Brescia and less than 10 minutes' walk from the nearby village of Pilzone. Historic Roman sites, vineyards and boat trips to the lake's island, Montisola, are all nearby. This terraced site is shaded by mature olive and oak trees, surrounded by wildflower meadows and has pitches separated by olive trees and hedges. The modern facilities at Camping Cave include a bar and a terrace restaurant overlooking the lake, a playground, a billiards table, ping pong, windsurfing and boat storage. Among the site's amenities are an accessible toilet and shower block with a separate parent and baby bathroom and coin-operated washing machines. Free wifi is also available to guests. Barbecues are allowed. Bike hire is available nearby and you can do a circuit of the 66km-long cycle path around the lake's shoreline, and canoeing/kayaking, fishing, sailing, and watersports are all available around the lake. Nearby there's also a golf course, an outdoor pool and plenty of mountain biking and climbing opportunities.
