Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Camping as a family with 2 kids aged 10yr and 19yrs. The location of this campsite is perfect, just a short walk to Gullivers, and about 10 minutes stroll to Willen Lake. Loads of things to do in the surrounding area. The staff were brilliant from the on set, very helpful and informative. The site layout is good, with a variety of camping/glamping/caravan areas. We had plenty of space for our 3mx5m tent and car. Facilities for washing up/laundry/showers etc were really good. Little onsite shop with some essentials plus the Dinoland gift shop for toys and treats. Onsite bar with food options was good. Little kids mini disco was a hit for the 10year even if she was a little bit old for it.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Friendly staff, plenty of space, lots to do for young children such as multiple playgrounds and sandpit etc, across the road from Willen Lake and Campbell Park, Strong TV signal and phone signal, small shop with essentials, fresh bread on a morning, clean facilities. Food on site was good and lots of takeaways local delivering. We would 100% return.
Disliked: Entertainment. Although I liked the camp rock feel of the toasting the marshmallows, cookies and milk and film etc I felt that it was very rushed. The mini disco was a small room with 3 entertainment staff stood around looking at phones whilst a music playlist was on which left the children disinterested. Party dances, more lights and making use of some outside space in the better weather doing the conga or something would have made much better use of their time. The toasting the marshmallows was lovely, however they stated it started at 7pm when they didn't arrive until 7pm we were all stood around waiting. I feel like this experience could have been much better if they involved some campfire songs etc. The holiday was really good and even having the bit of entertainment was brilliant for the kids, I just personally felt that with the amount of resources on camp and the number on staff it could have been more.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly and campsite was really nice and peaceful Was our first time pulling a caravan and staff were quick to help with guidance etc which was appreciated! Toilets and showers were lovely and clean but could do with an update None the less we had a nice time and was a good stop over for our drive down to Portsmouth We also had some friendly ducks and geese which was nice, and being so close to the Gulliver's parks would of been great as is all in walking distance, however we did that thing of not checking opening times and unfortunately it was closed! However fairly short walk to Milton Keynes town, which was suprisingly lovely with lovely green parks and views across the landscape, the Centre mainly consists of a large shopping mall which was great when its throwing It down with rain, and the local market was open which was really good, fantastic atmosphere! Would go back again!
Disliked: Showers and toilets could do with an update, but apart from that it was all good!

Liked: A warm welcome to the site and Jim was especially helpful to us when we had a problem with the van. The whole site was very well maintained, tidy and spotlessly clean. Our pitch was in a quiet area on the site and level with plenty of space around and a grassy area to set up our table and chairs. There was a pub within a couple of minutes walking distance which also sold meals. We would highly recommend it.

Liked: off season so fairly quiet. Freindly reception. Very good location for MK. Lovely surrounding areas, with good pubs, a canal walk, a large park leading to a lake. This is really set up for families with young kids, with some great facilities for them. Would like be very busy peak season as rather large site
