Liked: We came for one night with our dog (Billy) and it was absolutely beautiful setting up our tent amongst the orchards and lighting our firepit in the evenings!! Also Sobremesa where they brew the most amazing ales and cider as well as a fantastic cheese and meat board which is situated on the end of the campsite where you can chat to the locals and have a beer or two! There is also a lovely nature trail that you can walk and go to the river and walk to a few pubs/restaurants which is close by!! we will be returning

Liked: Absolutely love this place. The second time we been in less than a year. The onsite staff are so friendly and helpful. We had trouble with our knew tent, and the gent who runs the onside brewery come and checked on us. The toilet and shower block are Absolutely spotless. The views are stunning, and everytime we camp there, it always feels so relaxing.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Second time staying at this campsite, having visited in Aug 23 (this time in Mar 24). The campsite is in a great location, off the main road with limited traffic noise (not much traffic). The orchard is a cute spot with lovely views all around, albeit through gaps in the hedge line that surrounds the site (this does however provide some privacy). The new owners were very friendly and helpful is showing us around and explaining the facility/providing local recommendations. There is a small bar in the main building which is cosy and minimalist but provides great local beers/ciders and snacks/small plates. Facilities are communal and generally very good with a good level of cleanliness. Wheelbarrows were available to transport camping kit to pitches where needed. The pitches themselves generally had plenty of space and easy enough to find. A local book town with great cafes and pubs was a short drive away and the Brecon hills were also about 30mins away.
Disliked: Access is via a rocky track, easy enough in most cars but not great for low chassis or sports vehicles. The ground is uneven in places and the site was quite boggy when we arrived after a very wet Feb/Mar. Vehicle access to the pitches was limited, but we did still find a decent pitch and the wheelbarrows helped with setting up camp. The showers need coins to operate- and although there is a sticker explaining the best setting, this was heavily faded so we only just spotted it before the water cut off. While fridges were available in a separate area, next to the camp, space may be limited in busier periods and they didn’t get that cold- something to consider if bringing lots of items that require cold storage.

Liked: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience at this campsite was absolutely incredible! Myself and my son loved every second. The location was perfect for what we needed. The facilities were well-maintained and clean, including the toilet and showers( which cost £1 for a good time limit). Adrian was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The campsite had a great little tap house which served great beer and food. You can hire a fire pit and purchase wood for your evening campfires, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a memorable outdoor getaway!

Liked: Quiet orchard setting, good location half way between Brecon & Hay-on-Wye. Toilets/shower block was clean. Host was welcoming and knowledgable about the local area. Firepits (with wood for an additional charge) on offer on an evening.
