  • Peaceful setting bordering the Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park
  • An hour-and-a-half's drive from Toulouse
  • Massage, relaxation and beauty treatments and unlimited Jacuzzi access
Right on the edge of Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park, this site’s focus is wholly upon wellness and relaxation and as such it’s kitted out comfortably for both, comprising a wellness area with massage and beauty treatments and a Jacuzzi, all among a peaceful and remote countryside setting. Between Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Les Gouttes d'Eau is laid out across an entirely wild 11-hectare estate overlooking the Tarn-et-Garonne valley. The accommodation here comes in the form of transparent domes that give guests a sleeping-under-the-stars sort of vibe. The domes are kitted out with a comfy round double bed, cosy bedding and simple furniture, and have piles of space outdoors to utilise for all the lounging around you’ll inevitably be getting stuck into. Set in the midst of an orchard, the site’s relaxation area has a massage lounge where soothing rubs and relaxation treatments (fees apply) are administered using organic animal-free oils, as well as a six-person Jacuzzi to which guests have unlimited access day and night. If you fancy taking your relaxation mission a step further, beauty treatments are expertly applied in your bubble or right outside by resident beautician, Laurence, who’s on hand to preen and pamper guests with exfoliating and facial treatments, manicures, pedicures and makeovers. Elsewhere, guests have the opportunity to learn all about the constellations they’ll be falling asleep under as, come nightfall, Les Gouttes regularly hosts stargazing evenings with an expert local astronomer (booking fee applies).

Local attractions

As the site is set right on the edge of the Causses du Quercy Natural Regional Park, outdoorsy days off site can be achieved with ease: there’s plenty to do within close proximity, like hiking or cycling around the countryside or canoeing, climbing and caving around the Tarn-et-Garonne river and its valley. An hour and a half by car will take you to Toulouse – most famed, perhaps, for its saucisson – aka ‘La Ville Rose’, so-called due to the pinky hue of its many brick churches and coral-coloured shop fronts. Spend some time strolling around its Old Quarter, along winding cobbled streets and in and out of its boutiques. For sightseeing closer to home, visit the pretty medieval settlements of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, both within 40 minutes by car.
