Liked: We were welcomed by Lin she was very pleasant showed us around and said we could choose are pitch. She was very honest about the toilet and showers being in need of updating . However they were clean plenty of hot water even to wash your plates ect which we have found to be rare. There was a washing machine ect. The views were stunning, the site was quiet, a pub and convenient store within a minutes walk. We will definitely return.
Disliked: Toilet block old.

Liked: Our first stay at The Green Campsite and we're already checking our calendar to plan another visit soon. A lovely, quiet site with very friendly owners/staff. Our pitch was opposite the river Onny on hardstanding/gravel, lots of room. Although the toilets/showers are a little dated they were spotlessly clean whatever time of the day or night you used them. Lots of lovely walks and the pub and shop at the entrance to the site were a bonus. Can imagine it's a delight for children with the park area and the little river that they can paddle in, not the right time of the year for us to try this though.

Liked: The park in its self was in a nice area if it had been maintained. The help we received from a park worker helped us to get our car re started after we had a flat battery on the car.
Disliked: were do i start? well lets start with the toilet block i can only say it was dyer a cow shed/pig sty converted we only used the toilet twice we used our own facilities' in the caravan the place was cold damp i was never going to shower in that place . we was place on a what they described as hard standing as the grass parts were sodden (installing matting were the grass grows through would have solved this problem) we was placed on a pitch at the very end of the site next to a torrid running river One of the regulars stated that the pith we was on often flooded from being so close to the river. also the site has a one way system which to my horror was ignored by certain people i.e. people in the static caravans we was nearly run over has we was watching for traffic coming from behind us as they should have been. I did stop the driver who nearly ran us over and he stated the NO ENTRY sign does not apply to them. I believe that the site is up for sale and if that does occur and the new owners make considerable changes i will no come back to this site again.

Liked: Local pub was perfect, recommend booking as it gets fully booked quickly. Hard standing pitch decent size. Nice remote location.
Disliked: Phone signal, was non existent. No wifi at all either. Toilets/shower were vile- freezing cold and dirty. The toilets themselves were clean and fine but the amount of cobwebs were awful, it’s not had a deep clean in years. £30 a night and you have to pay 20p for shower that lasts 7 mins and the water pressure was as stated - terrible. You have to run the hot water taps until they are hot before you put your 20p in for a shower! Otherwise you’re paying for cold water.
