Liked: A remote peaceful site. We could choose our pitch and it felt really spacious. Lovely views.
Disliked: We knew there were porta loos but thought being a looked after site they wouldn’t smell too much but they did a bit.

Liked: Lovely smooth field of close cut grass with a slight incline. Easy booking. Check in and out via text. I booked a fire pit and received a car wheel full of split logs, kindling and fire starters & 2 blockes to stand it on. Shower units (cold water only) and a row (8?) of porta loos, which were immaculately clean near the top end of the field. The views from the site are stunning, with red kite swooping down looking for bbq left overs. Easy access to miles of walking of cycling, or just sit around and chill. It's a quite site so you can just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Generous pitches so not on top of you neighbours.
Disliked: Not a dislike really but would be nice for some of the toilets to be down the far end of the field. I guess logistics make this impractical due to ground conditions sometimes. Star ratings accommodation is your choice, child friendliness- it's a field! Facilities, toilets- I've covered that. Wifi, I had 4g on EE & good service.

Liked: Site was beautiful. Lots of space for everyone. People were friendly and respectful. There were lots of signs up explaining where things were and how they worked. Portajohns had sinks and soap in to wash your hands and were very clean. There’s a shower available which is quite handy. Place is really close to town and a beautiful public footpath that leads to it.
Disliked: The grass had recently been cut but the cuttings remained on site. Unfortunately the morning dew made the grass stick to everything and got tracked into our tent.
