Liked: Husband and son went for fishing an overnight stay in the camper van. The owner took his time to go over and have a chat and he was a lovely man. Plenty of fish caught (I think 20 between them). They will be back

Liked: a beautiful place, a very nice man who takes care of it, but the place has been damaged by time and needs renovation, unfortunately the photos do not resemble what it is now and there is no grill. However, it was a very nice time

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: A lovely little peaceful campsite in a beautiful location. Richie was very friendly and helpful. Everything seemed clean and well maintained to me. It's basic, but that's all I needed so no complaints there, very good value for money.
Disliked: A bit more signage for the campsite would be useful.. the directions say that most satnavs will take you to the wrong place, I went to the right place but there's no signs for the campsite/where to check in, only the fishery.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Nice site with level pitches, hot showers and toilet facilities. Lovely friendly staff very accommodating. We booked for 2 nights but the first night was pouring down with rain and too heavy to put a tent up in. We called the owner to let them know we weren't coming that night, arrived the next morning and they only charged us for the one night which was really kind. Would definitely go back!
