Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked: Great location, very pretty, easy to find. Kids loved the play area/ footy pitch/pool. Activities for kids in clubhouse/bar during half term such a drawing. Staff were polite. The pod we stayed in was clean, comfortable bedding, plates/bowls/cups/wine glasses/ cutlery and electric. Plenty of outdoor space to play.
Disliked: General level of cleanliness across park was poor, particularly toilet/ shower block and pool - this would make me reluctant to return sadly. Dog poo bins overflowing. Nowhere to grab a coffee/ no shop on site (but there is a supermarket a short drive away). A BBQ area would be beneficial outside pods, it is all grass, although we were able to improvise and use a nearby rock as a base.

Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked: - Little park - Kids club/entertainment - Pizza shop nearby - Shepards hut huge/clean - Views
Disliked: - Pool closed both days of 2 day stay. Very disappointed children. No signs and had to repeatedly ask staff who weren’t sure on opening. Issues with pool temperature. - Bar/entertainment areas were very unclean. Same food on floor 15-20 hours later. Tables dirty. - Toilet blocks weren’t as bad as expected. But lack of soap in dispensers. Someone (presumably kids) had caused mischief draping toilet rolls all over cubicles and throwing onto ceiling etc. This wasn’t cleaned our whole stay, meaning toilet block wasn’t checked or cleaned. - Seen cafe is due to open which will be a much needed addition to site. Missing a trick £ not having one. - Asked reception for WiFi (space to be entered on welcome envelope blank). But was told “there isn’t one”. Bizarre as there were several options for sure appearing.

Liked: Like the views of the reservoirs and cleaning/shower facilities.
Disliked: Went in half term holiday and park was alot quieter than expected. We booked an XL pitch, not knowing that no-one would of been pitched near us. It was like we was on our own. Yes its good to be private but with young children its nice to be near other caravans so kids can get friendly. Pool was good (when open). It was closed on both wed and thurs for us on a mon-thurs stay. Not ideal. Unfortunately we wont be coming to this site again.

Liked: The pool, the views, now I'm stuck to add anything more...longridge village is nice.
Disliked: I paid for electric hook up, but my meter (no43) was defective so I had to wait until next door pitch vacated. The swing is still broken from last year. The very useful little shop on site is mothballed . The guy who ran it last year went above and beyond for customers. The gym has been mothballed with intentions to turn it into a cafe. The bar can't do £6 pizzas anymore. The crazy golf is littered with pebbles. The touring pitches are difficult to get your caravan level ( your towball needs to kiss the floor!) The toilet block is dated, it feels like 1990s. Oh and the cherry on the cake was the indoor play centre was shut due to repairs. Not good management prep of facilities for bank hol weekend business.

Camping pod (Private restroom amenities, no pets)
Liked: Friendly staff, clean camping pod, pool, playground and crazy golf
Disliked: Bar space was under used, especially in bad weather, speakers were too loud so couldn't understand what was being said during the quiz etc. Arcade was too expensive, need some 2p machines. Soft play was closed.
