Liked: What a fantastic site. Very quiet with plenty of space. The owner was very helpful and friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. The shower and toilet block was kept immaculate which considering the biblical rains we experienced was a tough job.

Liked: Peace and quiet. Great views. Good dog walking from site. No frills but well maintained facilities offering what you need. Pizza available from site owner. We were the only ones on site for the second night of our stay so can’t provide insight as to what its like when full but the pitches are large, site small and owner very helpful so I’m sure it would still be great.
Disliked: Nothing.

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Good location around Boscastle and Tintagel
Disliked: They forbade parking on the pitch so we had to walk for every necessary thing to the car standing in the parking lot which was a big difficulty. Toilets and showers do not close or are locked so high that a child or short person cannot lock themselves in a public toilet. Besides, the showers and toilets are shared so sometimes there were very awkward situations. We pulled out an overturned table lying in the bushes, which we fixed and cleaned ourselves by putting it next to the tent and to our surprise the owner asked us to pay for the use of this table.

From the manager: I am so sorry this was your experience. We have 5 pitches with parking and 6 without, you would have been welcome to book a pitch with parking, they are all the same price, I would also have happily moved you to another pitch. We have 7 picnic tables which we hire out at £2 a night and one was broken, so over tuned away from the pitches in order that it wasn't used before it was repaired. When requested we carry a clean and well maintained table to your pitch, so I'm again sorry you helped yourself to a broken one, I would have loved to get you a table. We have a block of 3 showers and 3 toilets, all the doors lock, I've just been to check and one toilet and one shower have a low lock for anyone that needs it. I would love to have contacted you to discuss further but as you've complained anonymously I can't. Please accept my sincere apology that you didn't enjoy your stay, kindest regards, Victoria
