Liked: Easy access to site and 20 mins from the M5 with roads fine for us in our Motorhome. Site entrance has moved up the lane slightly and almost opposite the CAMC site. Reception is straight in front as you drive and we were welcomed by a staff member who showed us where to park when we arrived. You drive round and pick your pitch and that's it, just set up and enjoy! The site is clean and tidy although a little compact with the pitches, we had a hard standing with EHU. The toilets were clean, with only two showers and three toilet cubicles and three wash basins in each. Separate toilet at the top field for those camping in tents. This didn't cause us a problem even though the site was full. 15 min walk into Cheddar and 10 mins to Sainsburys and having a Motorhome this was perfect for us as we were able to set up and stay set up.

Liked: Location was great, a short and off road walk into the village centre where there was all the amenities we could need, pubs, supermarkets, cafe's etc. Quite campsite. Washing up area and communal fridge were great. Always very clean in terms of toilets and showers. Helpful staff, always friendly and a little shop on site. Plenty of space where we pitched up and it was nice that we could choose where to pitch.
Disliked: A very small dislike was that the toilet facility nearest the tent field was a little more basic and there was only one so sometimes had to queue.

Liked: Great location being able to walk into Cheddar. The site is well maintained and facilities were immaculate. We camped on the tent field for 5 day. Additional facilities including a fridge freezer, microwave and kettle are provided at no additional charge which is a good feature. Being adult only was also good. Will definitely be returning!

Liked: Stunning location, staff were so friendly and always on hand if you needed something, the site was well maintained to a high standard. The facilities very clean. The location we were given was by a lovley stream with ducks and ducklings on which got the sunshine most of the day, perfect location to relax and have a BBQ. Beautiful scenary with lovely walks along the strwam and into town, with easy access to Chedder gorge which is worth a visit. Would 100% recomend this site.
