Liked: This was early in the season so nice and quiet, hardstanding pitch near showers and toilets with electric. Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained, good area to walk

Liked: Staff are wonderful and so helpful. We had a cracking view over the water as we requested..Had a meal and drink in the bar which was good value for money and tasted lovely….very clean and staff are always on hand to help. We will definitely be back soon..

Liked: We received a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. The pitch was great, being big enough to park a caravan and two cars and the toilets and showers were spotless and lovely and warm. The bar and restaurant area was particularly nice with a view out on to the Solway Firth, and the food was reasonably priced and decent portions. All in all an excellent site and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

Liked: Pitch close to sea, nice new facilities, restaurant is now dog friendly 👍Friendly helpful staff.Nice dog walks from the site.

Disliked: Draught beer/lager wasn’t working .Cheese toastie cheese wasn’t melted.

Local attractions

Birdwatching, cycling, walking or just chilling out are all in the area around Queensberry Bay Holiday Park. It's right on the Caerlaverock Nature Reserve, home to one N. Toad, and is on the Sustrans 7 cycle route linking Sunderland and Inverness. It's also next door to Powfoot Golf Course; ask the team to arrange a round for you if you want. The Powfoot Golf Hotel is about a mile along the coast and is open to non-residents. The town of Annan, with a Tesco, local shops and cafés, is four miles away; Gretna is eight miles and the historic town of Dumfries is 14 miles away. The park is about 30 minutes from Carlisle. Queensberry is also within easy reach of the Lake District National Park in one direction and the lively cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh in the other.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a £10.00 ($12.55) fee.

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

Open fires, go-peds, mini mopeds, scooters, scramblers, quad bikes or other motorised, off-road, toy or farming vehicles are not permitted.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Occupancy

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between 10/01 and 03/31.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. between 04/01 and 09/30.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Sites

Sites: a £20.00 ($25.10) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Additional terms

Bookings for any groups aged under 25 are not accepted.

The site is on Solway Firth and the tide can be treacherous. Please make a point of reviewing the tide times (on the shop window) and make sure that you are always within sight of the shore.

Ball games and kite flying are only permitted in the football field or on the shore.
