Liked: Wow! This place is idyllic! Loved the meadow, with mowed pitches, lots of space between the pitches. Stream for the children to play in which runs around the field. Lovely warm powerful showers, always clean. Great pot wash area and fridge/ freezer. Very useful to have a charging facility. Clean, well stocked toilets. Dave and Yvonne were very welcoming and gave us great tips on where to visit in the local area. We are planning our next visit!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: The setting and surroundings were stunning. We were right next to the river and it was just brilliant. The long grass between pitches meant any rain got soaked up very quickly and the ground was never too wet. The recycling facilities were really good as was the composting toilet. When we got up in the early morning the bird song was probably the best and loudest I’ve ever heard. We loved the picnic bench and fire set up.
Disliked: There wasn’t a bin for any general waste. So we ended up taking our soft plastics home with us. Other campers didn’t pay any attention to the sustainable approach the site was taking, possibly as there was very little information about it, meaning they just dumped unsorted black bin bags next to the bins when they left. We had two showers whilst we stayed, on of which was cold. On the last day the composting toilet had ran out of toilet roll by early morning and it wasn’t topped up meaning we had to remember to take our own twice.

Liked: We adored this campsite so much! It could be the perfect site!! We loved the wild grass and moved out pitches so everyone was spread out! Each pitch has its own fire pit area and it’s own picnic bench We loved the little tiles with wildlife on to name each pitch. Gorgeous hot showers and clean toilets ✔️ Dave the owner was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We loved the stream on the site, perfect for our little one to paddle in
Disliked: That we only had one night there! Can’t wait to come back 😀

Liked: Great secluded location next to river. Cannot be more then 8 pitches so quite personable. Land left to grow naturally around pitches which gave it a good feel. Toilets, washing up facilities, showers all great - couldn't ask for anything more.
Disliked: Entrance through the gate slightly precarious but easy fix and not a big deal
