Local attractions

Centrally located between Grand Junction and the San Juan Mountain towns of Ouray & Telluride, Olathe is world-renowned for its Olathe Sweet Sweet Corn. In fact, there's a festival every year in August to celebrate the harvest. Black Canyon of the Gunnison is just a few miles in either direction - main entrance about 20 minutes away in Montrose, Colorado. Montrose also has a new water park for kayaking adventurists. Just 15 minutes away in either direction during the summer, both the towns of Montrose & Delta have drive-in movie screens - family owned and operated for generations, you don't get to experience the fun of the drive-in many places anymore.
