Liked: Location-great location walks all around! Walk to the pub is fantastic but a long hilly walk back!! Owners were nice - helped us with our an when it got stuck in mud - it had rained heavily!
Disliked: Had to pay £1 for shower. No recycling just a skip in the field didn’t look great. Facilities fine but very basic.

Liked: Nice location, easy to check in, good facilities, plenty of space, and overall just a great stay. I’d visit again!
Disliked: You have to pay for the shower. There’s no signal so good for off the grid but bad for communication.

Liked: Beautiful scenery, perfect location close to castleton, decent facilities, lots of lambs at the time of our visit, which our toddler absolutely loved.
Disliked: Pitches weren't marked out and people just pitched their tents anywhere, making it quite chaotic. The field was a bit overcrowded and the toilets had long queues at peak times. It was a Bank Holiday weekend, however, so may be less of an issue on a random weekend etc.

Liked: Views and remote location.
Disliked: Campsite felt over-booked with too many people in one small field. Very limited shower and toilet facilities meant you often had to queue.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Only 2 ladies cubicle and 2 men cubicle. Too busy. If you are looking for a calm stay away from the crowd, it might not be the best place.

Liked: Great location for access to local walking and traveling to Castleton, Buxton, edale. Right next to blue john caves and mam Torr. Area for campervans and tents was very large and can accommodate a lot of people, didn't have to worry about finding a place to pitch. Facilities were basic but what you needed. Food cabin on site selling coffee, jacket potatoes, Cakes crisps etc was a nice touch. Would recommend staying here
