Liked: We were given a very warm welcome by David and Karen. We had alpacas as neighbours! The site is so clean, the grass is so green, it is quiet and all you can hear is nature! The toilets are fabulous! The dog walk right by our tent was perfect for our stressy dog! We walked into Pickering only took us half an hour so fine for us. The Sun pub let us have fish and chips in the beer garden, which helped with the walk back! Simply perfect.
Disliked: Having to go back to work so not being able to stay longer!

Electric optional hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch (no awning)
Liked: We were greeted with a lovely welcoming and taken to our pitch, and shown how everything works ie, Electric, water and waste, and where the toilet block and bins were. Nothing was any trouble. This site is the cleanest tidiest site I have ever stayed on. Toilet/ shower block was immaculately clean, warm and with back ground music ( who could wish for more) there was also a lovely little walk you can go on around the site. So picturesque. Will definitely stay here again. 💯 recommend.
Disliked: A bit too far to walk into Pickering but the owners gave us lots of info on arrival for taxis, deliveroo so problem solved

Liked: The welcome was very friendly and informative and we were guided to our pitch. We received a welcome pack which provided all the info we needed about the pitch, site and area. The site, showers/wc, walk areas are spotless and very well cared for. There is a lot of room between pitches and the site was very quiet from around 8-9pm, we had a great sleep!

Liked: Fabulous site, nice big pitches with a huge gap between each pitch. Very well laid out and planted with hedges and flowers. Nice dog walk, recently mown that takes you along the river (where there are otters, kingfishers and swans & cygnets) and then back around into the farm past the alpacas and geese. This site is a real credit to Dave & Karen who are very friendly and are caravanners & motorhomers themselves, so really know what's what! It's a short-ish walk into Pickering with it's quaint streets, steam railway and an abundance of pubs!
Disliked: Nothing - it was top notch.
