Liked: The showers and toilets were lovely and clean, the pitches are a great size. We were travelling with a dog so having the little field where they can be off lead is fab! Gutted we had no change for the pool table! We will definitely be back to stay at this site.

Liked: One of a kind campsite. Children were over the moon seeing lots of planes land and take off. The facilities were also adequate, camping was very clean, we had one of the biggest pitches we ever had.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: The location is nearby the Weston beach
Disliked: There is no airplane in the holidays at all The airplane road becomes the tent pitches in a line. Thatâs why the pitches are quite far from the bathroom, toilets and washing areas. Every time we need to take a bath by car â> inconvenient They have disposal toilets in every 10m. But it is not comfortable The 4G/5G is so weak, can not use it I recommend for caravans only

From the manager: Thank you for the review though a bit negative, all the other campers could see what we were up against with the weather with us trying to keep the ground safe to drive and walk on, and helped us in any way they could. We are sad that you did not understand how a campsite works and in particular ours and could be because of a language barrier. It is important to study any information given to you by campsites so that you and your party have a good understanding of the site and its rules. The weather was terrible with driving rain and fog and so planes cannot fly in that weather, and you were camped on the runway! (which we only use on bank holidays for campers, the rest of the year it is a working runway, weather permitting) We don't have baths. You were camped next to a toilet but chose not to use it, bizarre! The celluar network isn't anything to do with us. You incorrectly mention that the site is only fit for caravans, this is incorrect and if you care to look on the websites you will see that your comments are not correct and quite inflammatory and misleading to other readers. Please be factually correct when you review a company.

Liked: We chose Branscombe as it was a small site which offered facilities for a young family. It did not disappoint, the facilities were good and clean, cleaned throughout the day, hot showers, play area for the kids, the views and it was peaceful.

Liked: A great campsite with a great little lay out and a great vibe đ The owners and staff were so down to Earth and kept on top of making everything clean, comfortable and accessible. Very close to lovely spots like Seaton and Beer đť

Electric grass pitch
Liked: We stayed over a spectacularly wet weekend and because our pitch was on a slight slope we had mud everywhere. However, that's British weather for you. On the plus side the owners did not stop working the whole time and miraculously the bathrooms were kept clean and free of mud. The games room is a great feature as it gave our teenage sons somewhere to have fun despite the weather.

Liked: Nice maintain grass area.
Disliked: There is no play area for older kids. One of the decision to choice this pitch was to see planes, sadly wasn't any there.

From the manager: Thank you for the review for your 1 night stay with us, sadly the planes are not guaranteed to fly, it really depends on several factors such as weather act Chris and Tracey
