Going adults-only in Dorset? Best head for Redlands Breaks, set on a private nature reserve 10 minutes’ drive from Sturminster Newton. Once there, you can tuck yourselves into your cosy and peaceful accommodation – nicely quiet as there are no kids running around – and put your feet up with gorgeous views over the wildlife lake (look out for the ducklings). To make your stay at Redlands even more special, breakfast and barbecue hampers are available (for an extra cost), and you can also order wine and champagne to add to the romance of your stay in this scenic spot. There are food shops in Sturminster Newton as well as a choice of restaurants and brasseries for special nights out à deux, or you can order takeaways and take them back to your pitch for an equally special night in. On-site facilities include a wooden shower block, a fridge for keeping your food fresh, a washing-up area and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. While dogs are very welcome on the site, please pick up after them and put the bags in the designated dog waste bin.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 1 day(s) of arrival.

Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: a £100.00 (R2,313.30) damage/cleanliness deposit hold is required prior to arrival and will be released within 24 hours of your departure date after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found. The damage deposit will automatically be pre-authorised in advance on the card used to make your booking.
