Liked: Really nice site. The staff were really nice and friendly. The pitches are good. The toilet, shower and washing facilities are excellent. There's a small shop for basic snacks and drinks. there's games for the kids to play. Very happy with everything. would definitely stay again

Liked: Lovely cared for site. Owners were very attentive. Highly recommend this site. Lovely wooded area for children to explore and lots of garden toys

Disliked: It wasn't a dislike for us, but just so people are aware there in no mobile signal and not a lot around the site. Site was water logged, but as I said owners were great and helping out

Liked: Lovely campsite, toilets and shower rooms very clean and always being cleaned. Lovely little shop area selling teas/ coffees, cold drinks, beers and snacks. Very friendly staff. Outdoors chess and games to occupy the kids and a lovely fairy forest to wander through.

Liked: We came here for the 4th time- we love the smaller sized campsite, proximity to the Neolithic burial ground, great for start watching as no light pollution. Now they have added the fairy wood where my kids enjoyed playing which made it even better. The place has an easygoing atmosphere and is family oriented. Staff are helpful and kind. Everything is provided for with enough clean toilets, showers and washing up stations for the size. We always come with a few other families and are allowed to camp together which is important to us. Fire pits are provided- so you can have that all-important camp fire experience which is a must for us. Anglesey itself is beautiful and there is so much nature to explore.

Local attractions

If you’ve got a thing for high-action activities, you’ll find yourself with a fair few options. Horse riding can be tracked down in around 20 minutes, but if you’d rather set out to see what’s happening out on the big blue, RIB rides (25 minutes’ drive) and coasteering (15 minutes) are on hand for wildlife spotting and more adrenaline. Things are just as splendid up on the clifftops along the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path (10 minutes) – over the 130 miles, you might pass sea arches, sand dunes and salt marsh, but it's up to you how far you want to go. Stop to rummage through the rockpools at Trearddur Bay beach (15 minutes), and cool off with a dip if you've worked up a sweat on your hike. If you’re feeling like a quieter day, there’s a golf course (15 minutes) for peaceful days of putting, or the Ucheldre Centre (15 minutes) runs arts and crafts events for the creative minded among you.

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.
