  • Dog-friendly site in the Westerwald countryside
  • A 25-minute drive from Siebengebirge and 45 minutes from Bonn
  • Just off the B8 and within walking distance of a bakery and restaurant
The Westerwald: sloping countryside and hills that are well worthy of a hiking or biking holiday. Among this gorgeous, green landscape is Camp-Rottura, a dog-friendly site with spacious pitches and plenty of encouragement to relax, unwind and soak in the views. Just off the B8 road, it’s also easily accessible. There is a bakery and restaurant within a short walk of the site, and a farm shop is a quick five-minute drive away. If you’re in the area to hike, which you may very well be, it’s only a 25-minute drive from the volcanic hills of Siebengebirge, which is peppered with orchards and vineyards and has some stunning walking or biking trails. A castle, historic villa and a dam (with yet more trails) are also within half an hour’s drive of Camp-Rottura. Perhaps you’re yet to visit Bonn, a city on the Rhine river home to the birthplace of Beethoven, the stunning Bonn Minster and a mineralogical museum. A day of sightseeing is also easy, as the city is only a 45-minute drive away from the site.
