Me gustó: Nice flat pitch, clean showers and toilets. Short walk to garden centre, golf club close by, lovely place for a drink. Ideal site for us for one night. Would return again if in the area.

No me gustó: Nothing - but a suggestion is to improve the signage to the site - the one we found was half hidden behind greenery.

Me gustó: It was peaceful, and the shower blocks were very modern and clean. Secure gate to get in and out.

No me gustó: However... there is no temperature control on the shower, and after a minute or two turns to scalding hot. My face felt like it was burning for about half an hour afterwards. There are no obvious large bins for rubbish, just a few small bins at the side of the pot wash area. The pitches and the grass need some serious TLC as is overgrown and looks unkept. The pitch itself is too narrow to have the caravan and your awning, as we were told we weren't allowed to put awning up with groundsheet on the grass, so had to suffice with no awning. There is a 'coastal walk' advertised in the bathroom block, so we decided to try this out. It was a trek through some over overgrown nettles into some fields, eventually leading to a pathway. Not really the relaxing coastal walk we had envisioned. There was no interaction with the owners. Only saw what I would assume was them driving up in a jeep to check who's on what pitch. I'm someone that prefers some kind of hospitality, a 'hello, thanks for visiting, this is where we are if you need anything etc..' I had texted asking about a late departure add on, and had to ask again the next day as was not replied to at first. We begrudged paying the extra to stay as we just wanted to leave, I ask for later check out due to disability which sometimes requires a bit longer to pack away. This is OK as literally a base to sleep on, but at almost £40 a night, feel this is quite expensive for what it is. Also not necessarily a massive grumble, but poor/next to no WiFi signal, therefore being able to sit and catch up on work enjoying nature didn't really happen as I need to be able to access the Internet to do so. We spent most of our time out in Lancaster, as it just didn't feel very welcoming. Just feel as though we paid £80 to sit in an abandoned field.

Me gustó: Great location. Superb amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. Easy to enter. Early entry time works for us. Views spectacular. Optional walks to Glasson Dock and Lancaster along the old railway. Quiet and peaceful. Garden Centre, historical hall and golf if required.

Me gustó: Location Excellent Facilities very good Water , Electric and waste water access very good Would stay again, but prefer to be on the first pitches between gate and toilet block

Me gustó: We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the site. There is easy access to the coastal walk alongside the estuary. The pub is about 20mins away .

Me gustó: Very quiet and relaxing location, good size pitches and the toilets and showers are kept very clean, would definitely visit again.

Me gustó: Clean site. Toilet/shower block excellent and always clean. Good security with barrier for in and out

No me gustó: Pitches bit overgrown and not very level. Would have preferred some interaction with owners/ management. No one to give information or answer questions. Poor Internet signal which is important to most people these days

Me gustó: Absolutely amazingly nice and chilled place with a great walk/cycle track into lancaster just minutes from the site also the added avantage of a great cafe/garden centre on the same estate as well golf ammenaties at hand Lovely clean shower and toilet block
