Coedmor Camping

Me gustó: Loved the site and the bell tent itself. Ruth could not be more friendly and accommodating for us. Offering use of the kayaks and use of alternative washing facilities as unfortunately the solar shower was broken. Back to basics which we love and we'd love to bring our girls here.

Me gustó: Peaceful but close to Cardigan and several beaches. Very basic but very affordable, exactly what we like. There's swings for smaller kids and some sports equipment like badminton, cricket, balls and frisbees which is great when you forgot to pack that kind of thing! Ruth was very friendly and welcoming and ever so helpful. She knows a lot about the local area. We got to meet donkeys and sheep too which was cool.

Me gustó: Quiet location. Very child friendly. Ruth the owner could not have done more for us. Went out of her way to make time for the kids despite clearly being busy. Checked in on us daily and gave lots of helpful local knowledge. Would definitely stay again.

Me gustó: Ruth is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble and she's brilliant with the kids. She's such a kind natured person and puts so much effort into ensuring everyone on camp has an amazing time. Teepee and facilities were spotlessly clean. Plenty for our son to do and the open space was enclosed which meant it was safe and didnt have to worry about him running off or getting lost. Short drive from a beach and other lovely places to visit and we even saw dolphins. Beautiful peaceful location surrounded by farm animals. Great opportunity to get away from busy life and relax in nature. Locals were really friendly and the local chip shop was amazing. Can't wait to come back.

No me gustó: That we had to come back for work and couldn't stay longer.

Me gustó: Good location. Quiet field. Not busy with other campers. Flat enough site. Good park area for younger children. Basic facilities. Parking away from camping.

No me gustó: Running a campsite had obviously lost it’s appeal to the owner. Bit impatient with guests and a few rude comments. Don’t bank on the shower working. Frequently cold. Nowhere to wash up. Needs wheelbarrows or something to help move heavy camping gear from the carpark.

On arrival, and when leaving the campsite, campers are able to take their cars to their pitch to unload their tents and camping equipment. Cars return to the car park area on the field as the campsite is a car free area so everyone can relax, and enjoy without having to worry about cars near the children's park area or when playing various games provided.

Me gustó: Immediately knew we'd booked the right campsite for our first camping trip with the little ones when we pulled up. Really serene with great views, essentially a beautiful clover meadow. Ruth is such a lovely host and was really friendly and fun. She's been working at the local community garden (which is great by the way) and she gave us a pumpkin plant to take home with us. There was always someone at the end of the phone if needed. The campsite is small and secure enough for our 4 year old to play independently at the great little play park. There was plenty of games to play like football and badminton. I really liked the eco parts of the campsite. The low level of lighting but solar lights on anything that may be a trip hazard, such as the ride on tractor, are well thought out. Facilities are clean and in good condition. Well definitely come back to stay again.

Me gustó: How peaceful and how friendly and helpful the owner was. Play area was a lovely touch with a box of outdoor toys. Newly fitted shower. Everyone on site was so relaxed it was a great atmosphere. Not overcrowded, plenty of space. Lots of animals, and owner who was happy to talk to the children about them. Booked a bell tent last minute for the bank holiday weekend with my mum and daughter. Ruth was so helpful and friendly, we found out loads about the area and visited most of the places on their website. Fantastic base camp for exploring the local area.
