Me gustó: The value for money is so good at this place. Also very easy to find. My husband and I stayed Saturday night with our daughter who loved the alpacas. The whole experience is so peaceful and serene. Very clean and breathtaking views. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly! Moly was amazing host showing us around especially introducing us to all the alpacas. We have already booked or next visit. :)

Me gustó: The site was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and couldn’t help enough. Compost toilets were well maintained and didn’t smell. River was great and full of trout for fishing. The alpaca were an amazing addition and my son had the chance to go and feed them free of charge.

Me gustó: Great stay, all the staff where extremely friendly and attentive. The facilities were spot on. But best of all the location is amazing.

Me gustó: The location is great, the river runs alongside the tent pitches, there's a pub on site that serves food and drinks and there's plenty of outdoor seating space.

No me gustó: If I was to be picky, probably the fact that there ain't any shower facilities, hence why my stays have only ever been 1/2 nights. But don't let that put you off.

Me gustó: This is our new favourite place. Gem of a campsite. Warm welcome upon arrival. Lovely, clean and spacious cabin. (We stayed in the Otter Cabin) Hosts were amazing, very attentive. Ate in the pub in the evening, and had a few drinks in the bar. Food was tasty and generous portions. The Children had plenty to do, played in the river, walked and fed the alpacas, had a campfire. Then there was plenty of woodland to explore. We were all gutted to be leaving, and we will definatly come back. Thank you

Me gustó: We stayed for 3 nights in May 2024, with 3 children aged 11,8 and 6 this site was great. Lots of wooded areas for the children to explore, the beautiful river for them to paddle in and of course the alpacas!! The owners were fantastic and very knowledgeable, they were present on the site, regularly checking in to see if everything was OK, inviting the children to feed the alpacas and keeping the place clean and tidy so everyone could enjoy their trip! We booked onto the alpaca walk which the kids loved and we learnt so much about alpacas, we would definitely recommend!! The composting toilets were no trouble at all and the kids learnt a lot about water wastage and why composting toilets help the environment.

No me gustó: The website I'd booked on said arrival times 2pm-anytime. I arrived at just before 11pm to a closed pub with no reception. I attempted to ring the number provided and email them with no response. I spoke to other campers at the site and they said the pun had shut at 10pm. I'd travelled 120 miles and paid £40 for a bed in a shed. I was staying over to attempt snowdon via crib goch so I needed to sleep. I tried to sleep in my car which failed and I had to drive 120 miles home at 2am. I've contacted the site and they are refusing a refund and stating they were open when I arrived why is a blatant lie. Do not stay here lying scammers.

Unfortunately, there are some factual anomalies about your review which need pointing out. -At the time you stated you arrived, we were still open and serving customers in the pub. No-one came in the pub to announce an arrival. -You say you rang but we did not receive any calls. There were no missed calls on the answer machine or messages left. -You say you contacted for a refund-again, not true. We to date have had no contact with you directly. -There was an email finally found in our junk folder was was unable to get through to any one of our three mail boxes. This may be because it came from sender 'allow it fam'. I'm sure you understand how important it is for businesses to put security in place to filter unusual or alarming messages). We are sorry your trip up Snowdon was unsuccessful, perhaps next time if you actually turned up for check in or ring in advance to say you can't make it, we could have amended the booking for a time more suitable for you. For what it's worth, by turning up in person you would have also realised we are the most genuine team of people doing the best we can for our customers. We do not lie-we have no need to and I can assure you we are not 'lying scammers'. This kind of personal defamatory abuse is clearly reflective of the type of person who wrote it.
