Pen Y Bont Touring and Camping Park

Me gustó: Cleanliness of the facilities and park in general. Very well maintained. Location was well within walking distance into the local town, plenty to see and do. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

No me gustó: Nothing to dislike.

Me gustó: The site is clean and in a gorgeous setting was so lovely to hear the sound of the sheep and birdsong. Lovely and peaceful. Modern toilet and shower facilities. Has a little shop with a great range of goods. Short walk from Bala Lake which is beautiful, there’s a cute little steam train nearby. The walk into Bala is 10-15 minutes where there is a good selection of shops, pubs, cafe/restaurant

No me gustó: The pitch we were allocated was on the small side and was located next to a road which I’m guessing farm vehicles travelled along. This occurred from 5.30am until around 10pm as a light sleeper it woke me each time. It appeared the toilets are checked once a day as the toilet paper had run out each night so had to take my own toilet paper last & first thing. I feel these are minor things overall and I would certainly recommend and return but would request a pitch away from the back of the site.

Del administrador: Good Morning Diane, Thank you for your lovely words, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us, the sound of the birds singing is beautiful! 🕊 Bala does have a lot of lovely little gems on offer too 😊 With regards to the road, unfortunately there is very little we can do about the times people travel along it, or our location - we are in a rural area, and as such, there are tractors and trailers that travel past. Guests can request other pitches but during busy times, sometimes moving to an alternative pitch is just not possible. The toilets are checked more than once a day, however weekend staff work from 9am-5pm and there is only one person on duty at the weekend so although we do our best to ensure there is adequate toilet paper in every cubicle, inevitably when the site is full, it can sometimes run out. If the person on duty is made aware of this at the time, we would have gone straight away to re-fill and it is always our first port of call to check this first thing in the morning.

Me gustó: Really lovely camp site, it's really well kept with probably the nicest facilities on any campsite I've been to. Furthermore, the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Me gustó: Really worth to choose this camping as got everything what you need clean toilets, is clean aroud, place well organized and friendly staff. Is good location for traveling.

Me gustó: Site is not too big but comfortable, enought space for tent and car. Look really beautiful, can see that owners put a lot of care about place. Toilets are clean and warm, the is no long distance to toilet doesn't matter where are you stayed. Site shop well equipped. Ladies in reception happy to help.

No me gustó: I was not sure from where I can take drinking water as there was no sign so assumed that water is good for consuption from every tap

Me gustó: Stunning views, pretty campsite overall.very clean and modern amenities. Lovely staff. Would highly recommend for all.

Me gustó: Lovely clean site toilets and showers immaculate. Laundry room had 1 washer and 1 dryer which was ideal. Staff friendly and helpful will definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely book again.

Me gustó: The campsite is very well-kept. The toilets and showers are modern and always clean. Without crowds, you can spend time with your family, surrounded by nature. The owners are very friendly and always helpful.

Me gustó: Beautiful clean site, really enjoyed our stay. Only thing I think could make it a little better is an extra washing up area, two sinks didn't seem enough for the amount of pitches, but we did stay at a busy time.
