Tyddyn Dedwydd Caravan Site

Me gustó: The site was easy enough to get to, been a small site it was beautiful within its surroundings, the area was clean, the toilets and showers were good, the owner was lovely and very helpful. It had what we needed using a touring caravan. Everyone seemed like minded in that it was a nice peaceful area, with children playing in the day, having older children who were happy to chill after adventurous days its was lovely. The space we had was plenty big enough for our caravan and awning, we parked the car in the designated spots. The toilets are unisex but there is an accessible toilet/ shower that can be used for family's or females if needed (as stated in the toilets) but we were fine in the showers, had plenty of room. Everything worked, everything was cleaned.

Me gustó: Everything. Great welcome by owner. Peaceful. Owner cleaned shower block. No issue with unisex block. Huge showers that you can go in and lock door. 4 wc’s. All super clean.

No me gustó: This is a bungalow with large garden we had a hard standing electric plot this was situated in the front garden .

Me gustó: Very quiet site. Friendly host.

No me gustó: Shared toilets (although there was a separate disabled toilet with a shower and basin).

Me gustó: Small, quiet, site with friendly owners. We had no issues finding it. Dog friendly. Water and electricity to each pitch. Hot showers, no charge and able to hold the shower head in your hand. Use of disabled facilities if you're uncomfortable with unisex. Mostly seasonal pitches, we were the only ones there most days.

No me gustó: Washing up sinks low which caused back ache but overcame this by using washing up bowl on the drainer, or could have used the sink in the caravan.

Me gustó: The site owners were very kind and helpful and the facilities were well maintained.

No me gustó: The site is quite small and the facilities are shared, which felt slightly awkward.

Me gustó: Lovely site quiet well maintained. Run by the most helpful people you could meet. Highly recommended.

Me gustó: Absolutely amazing place for family’s, owners was out of this world even come and spoke to us, went to the shop to get our daughter some marshmallows. Loved they do fire pits also which was a bonus. Owners children very polite and played with all the others. Cannot wait to come back thanks again

Me gustó: Owner was helpful and welcoming. Peaceful location. Site at the back of the owners house looked nice but we didn’t get on it.

No me gustó: Very small pitches for motorhomes on the entrance driveway. No room to sit outside the van under our wind out awning. Toilet/shower block is unisex which just doesn’t seem right and felt uncomfortable. Not particularly clean facilities and washing up sinks were dirty. Booked for two nights but only stayed for one. Expensive for what we got. Felt that the owner was trying to cram in too many bookings at once which is a shame.
