Welcome to Elessar Yurt Village Nestled in the heart of the South Downs, Elessar Yurt Village offers a magical escape, perfect for those seeking serenity and a touch of enchantment. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a family adventure, a wedding celebration, or a corporate retreat, our yurt village is the ideal setting for creating unforgettable memories. Experience Elessar At Elessar, we blend the beauty of nature with the comforts of home. Our charming yurts are designed to provide a luxurious and immersive experience. Each yurt is equipped with a handmade oak double bed, a Chesterfield sofa, table with chairs, natural coir flooring, and beautiful drapes. Enjoy the warmth of an antique wood-burning stove. Each yurt also features its own barbecue and picnic table, making outdoor dining a delight. Additional Features: - Children's Accommodations: We can add two single floor cushion beds for children up to 17 years with bedding. A travel cot for infants is available free of charge (bedding not included). For larger families, please contact us prior to booking. - Luxury Shower and Toilet Block: Enjoy our 5-star facilities with heated showers and massage features. We have both flushing and composting toilets available. - Hot Tub: Our 12-seater wood-fired hot tub is a communal area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. Please read through our safety information before use. We offer per bookable 45 minute slots so you can enjoy this exclusively. - Water and Food: Water butts are provided with each yurt, and there are drinking water points on site. For food preparation, outdoor workbenches are provided. Communal Kitchen & Catering: We have a communal tree house kitchen with a washing-up area and amenity cupboards with crockery and cooking equipment and catering services are available for large groups. Campfires & Barbecues Gather around our large central campfire and enjoy the camaraderie of an outdoor fire under the stars. Guests also have a charcoal barbecue for each Yurt (charcoal not provided). Transportation & Parking On-site parking is available 200 yards from the yurts, with wheelbarrows provided to help move your luggage. Security & Safety Our secluded location ensures privacy and peace of mind. Our team is always on site, and padlocks are available for your yurt. The entrance is locked at night for added security. Pet-Friendly We welcome well-behaved dogs at Elessar Yurt Village. Dogs must be supervised and on lead at all times and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Directions from London: From the A27 Fishbourne Roundabout, take Fishbourne Exit. Turn right onto Salthill Road and continue to end of the road. Turn left onto the B2178, towards the village of East Ashling. Just after the sign for Oakwood School, turn right onto Chapel Lane, drive past St. Mary Sennicotts Chapel and continue down the track for 200 yards until you see a Farm Gate on your left, signposted 'Elessar Yurt Village'. Parking is sign-posted and located in the field on your right.

Local Attractions Goodwood Events Enjoy the comforts of our Yurt Village, during events at the Goodwood Estate. Kick back after a busy day in our elegant yurts. (less than 5 miles from the Goodwood Estate). South Downs Way offers a really excellent variety of cycling routes, check out the cyclists guide for more details. Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve, including the oldest Yew forest in England and an Iron age Burial Mound. Once at the top of the hill you can see far out to sea and to Chichester in one direction and to the rolling South downs in the other. This walk takes 1hr 30 mins and is an easy level of difficulty. Fishbourne Roman Palace and gardens is the largest Roman home in Britain. A great place to explore with the children. Stanstead Park Country House hosts events from March and even has a miniature light railway which is loads of fun for the children. West Witterings sandy beach has been a favourite family destination for generations. For more details click this link. The historic City of Chichester is a great place to wander, eat and shop. There is a farmer's market every 1st & 3rd Friday of the month. Chichester Cathedral is a great place to visit, with lunchtime concerts, free events and art exhibitions and the splendid Bishop's Gardens which offers a beautiful setting for a picnic.
