Horam Manor Country Park

A aimé : Just back from a short break at this site. First impression was very helpful and friendly team and a very tidy site. Tony and Diane were the managers and they were pleasant,present and busy around the site. Not in your face.. just a nice level of interaction so well done. The site is a good size and the pitches are large. The grounds are well kept and clean. The bird song from the many trees was lovely and there are many fishing lakes and a bar/bistro to visit on site. The shower and toilet block was very clean and shower water hot another bonus. To be honest we could not fault this place at all. It is a dogs owner dream as there is a recreation ground with an enclosed field just outside the camp site and plenty of space on site so this was ideal for us . Also it's a 7 min walk into the village for shopping and a small shop on site. Lastly safe and secure entrance and CCTV. We would not hesitate to recommend and will be returning. This is our current favourite and best site we've stayed on.

A aimé : Warm welcome, tidy level pitch, own water supply and good power supply, spotless facilities, wildlife-friendly, easy walk to attractions, shops, Cuckoo Trail, peaceful, well spaced out, plenty of walk and bike paths nearby.

N'a pas aimé: Just having to go home again - could happily have stayed longer!

A aimé : Nice friendly site, showers were very clean and powerful, short walk to big field where, the grandchildren played when they visited.

A aimé : Everything. Staff were brilliant with the children, telling stories and sending them on a fairy hunt. Very helpful and friendly

A aimé : Lovely and quiet, friendly welcome and nice clean toilets with hot showers. Lots of local places to visit and great for cycling and walking dogs welcome. Local shops in walking distance as well as cafe.

A aimé : Small, friendly site. Lovely setting. Fish and chip shop 2 min walk. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. Very clean

A aimé : A lovely site and very friendly welcome (even though we arrived late). The site was very clean, lovely shower / toilet block with hot water and a free hairdryer!

N'a pas aimé: We had to unpadlock the gate each time we went in/out, but I appreciate that this is also good from a security point of view. Also the guy would hear the van and came out to unlock it for us, so it wasn't really a pain. No pub within walking distance so the only place to eat was a fish and chip shop.

Unfortunately, miscreants venturing onto sites means we have to be a little more vigilant and hope that the minor measures are a deterrent. That said, we appreciate the acknowledgement that we try to make the measures as easy to manoeuvre as possible by being there for entries / exits. Horam is particularly rural, but Heathfield and Hailsham have a wealth of eateries and pubs to choose from. Thanks very much for the review, and we hope to see you again soon.
