Harlyn Sands Holiday Park

Mi è piaciuto: Close to the beach. Nice park for our 5 year old. Entertainment was good for children at night. Staff was friendly.

Non mi è piaciuto: Toilets and shower blocks cleaned in morning by the time the evening came they was disgusting. Had to pay for showers. Also swimming was paid for separately. If you didn’t get into the club house early there was no tables. Pitches was really close together, felt like they had tried to squeeze as many tents and tourers on the field as they could without thinking about personal space. No WiFi unless you paid for it, but signal for WiFi was awful anyway and for my kids who are 15 and 12 WiFi is essential.

Mi è piaciuto: The convenience of the site. Easy access to the beach, and good facilities such as a well stocked shop with daily deliveries from the bakery, large bar with lots of choice, restaurant and good play area, swimming pool. and entertainment. Lots of toilet cubicles and showers. Although busy, it didn't seem over crowded and it was nice to see how inclusive the site was. Beautiful beach just a short walk away. We were able to leave the campervan parked up for days without needing to use it which is exactly why we chose to stay here. Will definitely stay again.

Non mi è piaciuto: The toilet blocks need attention. The flushers didn't work well on most of the cubicles - I image children were unable to flush properly because of this, which led to constant blocked toilets. The laundry facilities were also mostly out of order. I imagine this could become frustrating if staying for a long period and having paid for those facilities.

Mi è piaciuto: Great place, great facilities for all concerned. Friendly staff very helpful. Fantastic location great access to some stunning walks.

Non mi è piaciuto: Shower facilities need a revamp. Few bad eggs led to some antisocial behaviour especially from some of the teens not appropriate for our young children that could have been policed better.

Non mi è piaciuto: Overall the atmosphere of our holiday went down hill in the evenings. There seemed to be a theme that adults would drink excessive amounts of alcohol and create conflict with one another. This made the site not child friendly. Adults using derogative language which is hard to shield from children when tents are no more than 2 sheets of fabric. Music was on until gone midnight in the club house which resulted in the drunk and disorderly conduct continue until around 1am. The staff did not police any of this behaviour, my partner when going into the clubhouse to get change for the showers was told to wait for his change whilst the bar man pour himself a pint.

Mi è piaciuto: Toilet facilities were really clean and well looked after. Play area was lovely. Really short walk to the beach, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. It’s a real gem of a place

Mi è piaciuto: Really enjoyed out stay here ( second time in 6 weeks) fantastic entertainment both for children and adults, very much geared up for the children which was great, facilities were kept clean, staff very helpful on arrival and during our stay, if you decide to eat at the restaurant then ( mixed grill was very good) the menus was pretty good and good value, as other places we’ve been generally very limited and costly. Swimming pool was so warm and fantastic for the kids who couldn’t get enough off. The beach coves are sandy with lovely clear clean blue water, looking forward to returning soon

Mi è piaciuto: Location, Location, Location. Walking distance from sandy beaches and amazing bays. Great family site, pool was a nice added bonus (£5/person/session). On site facilities all you need and the club house and chippy made a coupld of cold damp April evenings more comfortable!

Non mi è piaciuto: Overall the site was as expected. The only comment i woudl make is that iot woudl be good for teh pool to be included with teh stay, or at least a coupld of complimentry sessions depending on length of stay as it could be come an expensive extra for a family to enjoy. Wifi also chargable which was a suprise.
