Ik was blij met: Absolutely everything! Lovely welcoming owners, only a handful of pitches so really peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. The toilet, showers and wash up area is spotless and by far the best I've seen! Will 100% be back to visit.

Ik was blij met: Quiet and beautiful setting. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very helpful! There is a lot to do in the area with something for everyone. Try the stone baked pizza available daily from the owners. It is delicious! Will, absolutely be back.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Very water logged very aggressive owner when I got stuck in grass with my car and burnt clutch out hard standing picths to narrow had to walk out on to mud and made mess of carvan every day should not have be open not good stay booked two nights stayed only one

We are pleased you found our facilities excellent and we recognise that you very much enjoyed your previous stay hence the reason for your return stay this season. We are disappointed to hear your stay was not as enjoyable as your previous stay. Our site, like the rest of the UK has had 3 months of almost consistent rainfall which has caused some of our grass pitches to become waterlogged and unusable. We have tried hard to open on the dates as planned as not to disappoint other guests by only using our hard standing pitches. We have had numerous guests staying prior to your arrival (Some with much larger caravans than yours) who have had no issues positioning their caravans onto their allocated hard standing pitches. Indeed, at the time of your arrival there were no other caravans on our hard standing pitches, therefore would of been plenty of space to manoeuvre. We sympathize with your issue with your car, however we are not quite sure why you choose to drive off the stone area and onto an area of grass getting your vehicle stuck and causing deep ruts. We pride ourselves on maintaining our site to the highest standard and spend hundreds of hours and significant sums of money for the enjoyment of our guests throughout the season.

Ik was blij met: Very quiet and clean site. Showers/toilets were very modern and always clean. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Pizzas delivered to our caravan was a lovely touch.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The site can be challenging to drive into. Not much room to manoeuvre for the hard standing pitches. Nothing really there for children. Nothing in walking distance to take the kids.

Ik was blij met: Friendly proprietor. Warm and clean shower, washing and toilet facilities. Rubber mats for use on grass pitch. Only stayed one night with my sister but would feel happy to stay if travelling alone.

Ik was blij met: The location is fantastic is you are looking for somewhere tranquil and scenic. The campsite is very well kept with a warm welcome from the hosts, and the shower and toilet facilities are very clean and well appointed. All in all, a great place to spend some quality time.

Ik was blij met: Small farm campsite in peaceful rural location. Friendly owners. Exceptionally good showers and wash facilities - was more like a hotel than a campsite!

Ik was blij met: Small and owners very personable. Clean and tidy - toilet and shower block as clean as any en-suite I know. Afternoon tea and Pizza available for delivery to your pitch (although we didn't partake in that).

Ik was niet zo blij met: Our pitch (12)was a bit boggy although plenty of hay available to cover any muddy bits.

Ik was blij met: Wow! Such a lovely site, beautiful setting on a farm, accessed by a lot of little lanes, making it seem really remote to get away from it all. Superb facilities - very clean and modern showers/toilets and washing area in their own little outhouse and also a lovely little canopied seating area. A really friendly welcome and the added bonus of being able to order cream and afternoon teas (served in beautiful china teasets),and pizzas elevated this site even more. Friendly owners were always around if needed, but never intrusive.
