Camp Bedrock

Ik was blij met: Fab camp site, travelling around Cornwall in our motorhome and booked to stay at Camp Bedrock for 2 nights, but liked it that much we stayed an extra night! Great walks direct from site and good Sunday carvery at The Edgcumbe Arms a short stroll away. Looking forward to returning with the family.

Ik was blij met: Very quiet and peaceful site, clean and well kept, was able to choose where to pitch up and firepits allowed Footpath alongside the site, 5mins from a pub and beach, on the SW coast path

Ik was niet zo blij met: Could do with a couple more toilets, the compost one that was there was kept clean and stocked up with loo rolls and hand gel but I feel it wouldn't be sufficient if the site was full Slightly pricey for no facilities

Ik was blij met: The tranquility of the surroundings Getting back to nature The fact that we were left alone and not hassled by anyone The wide open green spaces

Ik was blij met: Beautiful setting, as close to wild camping as it gets. Site was really relaxed and quiet. We had a lovely spot over looking the water, it was lovely to wake up to each morning. We will definitely return again and very soon.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Only negative was a vw transporter pitched behind who liked to play regae music all afternoon/eve, in such a natural environment it would have been more enjoyable to listen to nature rather than someone’s personal choice of music. No music would be a good rule to request from campers and a reasonable one.

Ik was blij met: We loved the large building to shelter from the rain and had a wonderful BBQ here. Short walk to the pub and mount edgecoombe

Ik was niet zo blij met: Very basic, but we like that. Not many level places for tents if it was busy.

Ik was blij met: Perfect Campsite on the waters edge. No luxury bits here, just a sawdust loo, which was absolutely fine. Right on the edge of the coast path, and a very short walk to Mount edgecombe and the pub! Ideal spot! Will definitely return and our dog loved it too!

Ik was blij met: Great place for peace and quiet yet so near the city with a short walk 5 minute walk to pier and the regular ferry that takes less than 10 minutes. Nice pub with food next to pier also. Good option for a walking backpacker. Site has a water standpipe and compost loo. Is nearly wild camping so all good.

Ik was blij met: Our first lone mother and daughter camp. Lovely little spot easily accessible with public transport. Pick your own pitch, lots of little nooks and hidey places. Very cool vibe with the buildings dotted around. Dean and his wife were incredibly helpful (sorry I couldn't move the firepit back!) and even provided fire wood for us. Clean compost toilet. Great location next to Mount Edgecombe.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The only thing that bothered me personally is there a walking route right in front of the site, so there were many dog walkers/hikers walking past us throughout the day and early morning.

Ik was blij met: Cleanliness of site and very conveniently located for ferry trips to Plymouth and for exploring Mount Edgcumbe. The site was very easy to find and has very easy access to a pathway down to Cremyll, the ferry and a great pub 👍

Ik was niet zo blij met: Nothing to dislike! Met the site owner/manager shortly after arrival and he assured us that the site would be improved in the coming months.

Ik was blij met: Great small peaceful site with fantastic walks. Less than 10 minute walk to a great pub with a lovely view and foot ferries to Plymouth. You don’t need the car/camper just park up and explore.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not a dislike just an FYI, there’s not that much level ground.
