Ik was blij met: Pub was nice and staff were friendly.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Very basic field. No level pitches. Limited facilities. Only 2 toilets. No facilities to wash dishes, although the staff did give us hot water from the pub. We managed OK as there was only 6 people staying on the site. Not sure how the site would manage during busy times.

Ik was blij met: The setting is lovely, the pub is delightful. Staff helpful and friendly. The pitch was ideal for what we needed Toilets were clean

Ik was blij met: Lovely location. Nice walk along canal to Devizes. Friendly staff and the food was nice too.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Pitches are grass so field does get soft when wet. Toilet and shower needed a clean.

Ik was blij met: Lovely little quite site next to the pub,in the village. Good meal and service in the pub .

Ik was niet zo blij met: Showers I found to be very hot . Maybe have long handled squeegee in shower to clean up after yourself to leave it clean for next person

Ik was blij met: Lovely field with plenty of room. Toilets were well stocked and clean. Lovely staff in the pub and had a very nice roast dinner.

Ik was niet zo blij met: This is not a criticism just an observation. There's a large padlock on the gate to the field which is opened with a code. The chain is tight and if your carrying anything or have a dog on a lead you need both hands to lock and unlock the gate. Perhaps this could be unlocked but shut during times of heavy use. Or alternatively a pedestrian gate to the side. There were styles into the field but not easy to manoeuvre with hands full.

Ik was blij met: Nice little site ,good facilities and clean.

Ik was niet zo blij met: No lights in camp site toilets. Food in pub needs improving.

Ik was blij met: Picturesque location next to an old church. Lovely pub on site with a spacious beer garden. Had a much needed evening meal after cycling there. Bonus marquee showing rugby world cup. Great facilities for the price; proper clean, hot shower and toilet next to the pub for campsite users and another toilet cabin closer to pitches. Friendly staff.

Ik was blij met: Loved it, the food and drink exceptional, facilities superb. Will stay again next Sept.

Ik was blij met: Great location, can't go wrong! Flushing loos, high pressure hot showers - yesss! A pub! The nature, I've stayed in a fair few campsites and even though this one is rather residential, I heard some deer, interesting birds and something large and heavy that charged through every night that squeaked...who knows! Even had a dragon fly land on my hat!

Ik was niet zo blij met: You can hear the traffic noise a bit, don't think the loos or showers had been cleaned in maybe a week...tho the bog roll restocked and loos emptied. But just pull your finger out and do it yourself, it's a small price to pay for running water and no compost loos and tepid water.
