Le is in the Vendée, next to the famed Puy du Fou theme park. It caters for family holidays in a private and enclosed woodland area of 15 hectares. The site has a heated swimming pool with a smaller adjoining paddling pool set in green and natural surroundings, a play area, bouncy castle, a library and board games. Plenty of opportunities for walking and a nearby fishing pool (catch and release fishing only) are in the immediate area. The campsite has large, shaded pitches set among oak and pine trees for privacy and peace. A snack bar and restaurant is open in high season: order food to eat in or to take away such as pizzas, pannnis, and other fast food. Bread and pastries are available in high season. There's also a small grocery shop for all your essentials. Le is centrally set in the touristic region of the Pays de la Loire, between the coast (70km away) and the theme park of the Puy du Fou (25 minutes away). The local village is two kilometres away and Montaigu and its supermarkets are within ten minutes' drive.

From Montaigu or from the motorway exit for Montaigu, follow the signs for La Rochelle, then follow Boissiere de Montaigu. From la Boissiere de Montaigu follow Chavagnes en Paillers and the campsite is located on the right off the D62.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

There's much to do around Le , as both the region of Vendée and department of Pays de La Loire are rich in history. The most popular attractions are of course Le Puy du Fou theme park, Logis de La Chabotterie and Le refuge de Grasla, a small village of huts once built to protect women, children and the older population during the Vendée civil war. Walking, fishing and other outdoor sports are also easy to access from here.
