Cor. Clap your eyes on that beaut beach – directly accessible from the seafront site of Camping Playa Aguadulce. The park is within easy reach of its two closest towns, Chipiona and Rota, 15 minutes by car to the famed sherry-producing town of El Puerto de Santa María, half an hour's drive to Doñana National Park, and under an hour by car to Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz. As the site's so close the beach, water-based activities like fishing and sailing are easily sorted steps away (a surf school is nearby too). A 20-minute walk will take you to the nearby golf club and spa resort at La Ballena beach if you fancy a round of golf or a pampering treatment. Eats, essentials and leisurely days are also easily sorted on site: there's a bar and restaurant, a supermarket, tennis courts, a ping pong table and a playground. The accessible toilet and shower block is supplied with hot water all year round. Free wifi is available to guests.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

Set eight kilometres from the Bay of Cadiz seaside resort of Rota, Camping Playa Aguadulce is a place of sand, sea, watersports and spa days: La Ballena beach, Elba Costa Ballena beach and Thalasso Resort are all within a couple of kilometres. The small seaside town of Chipiona is about 11 kilometres from the site, to Rota's north-west. It's famed for its flowers as well as the Chipiona lighthouse, the biggest in Spain, the third biggest in Europe and the fifth largest in the world: tours are available and the hardy can climb the 344 steps to the lighthouse's top. Also worth a visit in town is Castle Chipiona, built in the 13th century and now the home of the Cadiz and the New World museum. Over 11 kilometres of sands are at Chipiona too, as well as a sailing school and moorings for hire at the port. The sherry-producing towns of Sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa María are 13 and 17 kilometres away respectively; ancient Jerez de la Frontera (also a sherry-producing settlement and famed too for its flamenco dancing) is 30 kilometres away, and province capital Cadiz, its parks and its spectacular bay views, is within 45 kilometres.
