They are located on a working croft where we keep a small herd of Aberdeen Angus cows, Hebridean sheep and poultry. Designated a National Scenic Area, due to the outstanding natural beauty of the coastal landscape, the Uig area is famed for its numerous white shell sand beaches, rocky coves, crystal clear turquoise seas, dramatic cliffs, rugged hills & gentle machair grasslands carpeted with wild flowers during the summer. This wilderness landscape is rich in flora, fauna & bird-life including golden eagles & sea eagles. Mangersta Croft Wigwams are a hidden escape in one of the most beautiful & remote parts of Europe.
