Epworth Fields Holiday Park

Gostou: Lovely, clean field. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. I could see that there were more facilities but we were out of the busy season so understood why they were closed (cafe). The kids loved playing in the surrounding bit of woodland.

Não gostou: Expensive taxis to local village (not the campsites fault obviously)

Gostou: Children's Play Area is great as it's in the middle of the site so you can see them from your pitch. Close to Cleethorpes so you can go to the beach. The town centre is close by and has some lovely little shops. It was quite quiet this bank holiday weekend as by 10pm-11pm it was very quiet. Last year it was too noisy. I would stay here again because it's very cheap and the kids love it. Just a few things need to be improved.

Não gostou: Facilities need upgrading. No hot water in the sink so you have to use a kettle which is balanced on a bin (very dangerous). The showers just end up flooding so you end up getting all your clothes/shoes soaked. No consistent hot water coming out of the showers. The male who seems to look after the site is friendly however he has a couple of children who aren't the most friendliest. I constantly witnessed the male shouting at his children and the older child shouting and swearing back along with hitting his dad. This older child was also hitting other children. It really isn't professional to have your children on site if they are going to behave in that manner. The male was also walking round saying "I can't be ar€ed". Again not professional.

Não gostou: Noisy until early hrs 0100hrs rules on site none existent toilet disposal point over flowing with excrement Showers Dirty.

Gostou: Big open field with plenty of space for ball games etc. Park right in the middle with tent pitches round the edge so you can safely let the kids go play while still being able to keep an eye on them. Only 5 mins drive to epworth with shops, take aways etc if needed.

Não gostou: Toilet and washing facilities were not clean, saw someone hoovering but toilets and floors were dirty. No hot water to wash hands or pots just a kettle provided to boil your own hot water. No fishing pond as advertised on pitchup it is completely drained. Would maybe come back in a few years as I gather they are updating the facilities.

Gostou: We do enjoy our stay here as the park is good for kids and we make a tree swing when we come,

Não gostou: No pop up kitchen, no on site shop, toilets were not cleaned enough and the smell was not nice. We’ve been a fair few times and this time was a maybe do we go again? Didn’t have our confirmed spots to pitch up so had to pitch up elsewhere, wasn’t an issue tho as luckily we found 2 spots (confirmed on booking) so we could be together.. it’s a great place but this time round overall disappointed 😕
