Colne Valley Campsite

Gostou: We came as a trip away , we have been trying to find a nice campsite for a while which is safe but also private , Joe who owned the pitch was fantastic making sure we was ok and checking up on us , there is a portaloo on site for toilet facilities and the local town has everything you might need , amazing location and we are returning in two weeks time ! We also brought our dog who loved the open space and site , views are incredible around the area and we also chose to add a fire pit which was great at nighttime and Joe was great making sure we had enough wood , definitely recommend !

Gostou: Location, the views were stunning and absolutely beautiful walks from the camp. The owner was friendly and helpful and the facilities were well managed and kept clean. They even provided bottled water.

Gostou: The site host was very friendly and helpful, the site itself was quiet and the area was perfect for walking and exploring.

Não gostou: Few flat areas to pitch a tent, no car access onsite and a poor water supply.

Gostou: Simple back to basics camping, peaceful with plenty of trails within walking distance. Will come again

Não gostou: How long the grass was. Toilets miles down the hill. Day was spoilt by miggets buting us all. Night was spoilt by 2 men up untill 4am drinking.

Gostou: Amazing place to stay. Lots of things to do even on a rainy day. We missed a shower facilities a bit but we were prepared for that. For that beautiful views it was worth

Gostou: Great location with loads of walking and cycling nearby. Short walk into town and standedge tunnel.

Não gostou: Very basic facilities (not a prob for me but you ought to be aware)

Gostou: Amazing views, friendly hosts, great variety of walks and things to do locally. Great all round back to basics camping with the option to hire a fire pit and buy wood on-site.

Gostou: Lovely no frills campsite in a beautiful location. We pitched towards the top of the field for the better views. Such a scenic and tranquil place. There was only one other tent so it was almost like wild camping! Joe was so friendly and welcoming. Toilets were clean. We would definitely return.

Não gostou: The field is quite uneven but we were fine on an airbed. The midges were horrendous! We got over 59 bites each but this is natures fault, not the sites!
