Gostou: Nice view of hill behind campsite. Pub and vineyards within easy reach.

Não gostou: The description provided by Pitch Up was not accurate. ‘Peaceful country location’. In reality the campsite is very close to the corner of a busy road, with continuous traffic including large lorries. It is noisy throughout day and night. ‘Access to toilet facilities’. In reality, one portaloo that isn’t clean. ‘Looking out over the lovely vineyard views.’ In reality, the view is a small gap through the entrance, across the busy road. There is no clear sign for the campsite. Just a very small symbol of caravan/tent. Novoli Farm was not signposted. The entry to the field, two solid gates, was padlocked. We were not provided with the code for entry prior to arrival. The campsite was not fully secure. A car was able to get in late at night, park very close to our van, making it very difficult to get out the next day. The owners of the car were nowhere to be seen. Other, more permanent, campers didn’t recognise the car. There seemed to be little regulations for dog owners. Dogs were able to roam off the lead near the pitches, using the camping field as a dog toilet. As a result, we didn’t stay for the second night we had booked. We rely on Pitch Up to provide accurate, honest descriptions of the sites listed. The description of Novoli Farm over-exaggerates its features and is misleading. It leads us to question the accuracy of other Pitch Up descriptions.

Gostou: Lovely location well maintained site with easy access to secure site. Peaceful with shops and pubs near. Bacis facilities clean and maintained.

Gostou: I like the open space in the second field, the owner came to greet us upon arrival and communication with himself was pleasant. The view of the horses on the back field was lovely. The toilet was clean

Não gostou: No complaints about the site itself only I would of liked to see a photo of the toilet and washing up area before arrival :)

Gostou: Quiet and secure place. Clean toilet and a water sink with soap. Close to the beauty spots.

Gostou: Opposite New Hall Vineyard, you can see the fields of vines from the site. Back to basics site, traditional camping. Quaint village of Purleigh and excellent pub walking distance. Bus to Maldon 18 mins from the post office.

Não gostou: On the corner of 2 roads , but they were fairly quiet. Only 1 toilet, was very clean but wonky!

Gostou: Pub 500m walk away which was lovely ,great food and very dog friendly too. A selection of Hard standing pitches very much needed as very wet weather . Lovely view from back of camper ,would revisit for sure.

Não gostou: Would be nicer if it had a toilet block built with a sink under cover to wash up. when I arrived I was disappointed to see a portaloo, but inside this is a full working toilet it was basic but clean. As only a short break no shower was not an issue for us.
