Riverview Caravan Park

Gostou: The quality of the pods/value for money It included a seating area bench/table which converted into a bed, fridge, kettle toaster and a heater. We didn’t need to take much at all! The pool looked lovely but due to shoulder injury we didn’t get chance to go in.

Não gostou: Nothing we have rebooked for 2 weeks time :-)

Gostou: Pod was a great price and nice and clean.Good basic facilities inside.Would benefit from a dustpan and brush maybe just so guests can keep it clean when grass trails in, and maybe a microwave or hot plate. But not essential. Shower /toilet block clean. Clubhouse was great and nice little park for the kids. Staff really friendly and chatty, as were the rest of the guests. Food was available including breakfasts which is a good bonus. Wifi available in the pub but not the park. Swimming pool on site is a brilliant leisure facility. However, this was very very cold and would be used more if warmed through. Park was nice and tidy and well presented. Already re booked :-)

Gostou: Touring field layout and side pitching. Bar is really cheap and relaxed and friendly. Site currently been modernised. Can see massive investment happening on site. Amazing atmosphere, static residents arranged bingo and karaoke really fun night. No need to book for pool. Kids loved the park. River access through sites jetty also beautiful walking along river staff can’t do enough to help, Phil the manager is one of the nicest people you will meet and very helpful.

Não gostou: Pool not heated and is very cold but the kids still had a good time and we were told the pool heater is included in the renovation.

Gostou: The pitch was nice and flat and owner was nice

Não gostou: Showers are push button and cold,people drunk and arguing until 1am,no mobile phone signal,gym not functional and pool freezing cold...booked knowing the weather would be bad so "the heated pool" was the booking point and wasn't heated in any way,take your own your own toilet as never any in the toilet and a duster if you don't like cobwebs...all in all a cheap pitch but you pay for what you get

Gostou: New manager so friendly and happy to help. Staff great . Bar restaurant and food amazing 👏 well done chef you got through the weekend with a bad knee. Pitches and grounds well maintained. Toilets and showers clean. Children s play area and swimming pool. Highly recommend 👌 will be going back soon . Well done all to say you've only taken over four weeks ago 👏 👍

Gostou: Camp site really nice We stayed in a pod was lovely and warm Shower block clean

Não gostou: Was no bar and pool they never told us untill day off arrival There was a bar close but did not open untill 6 and not serving food

Gostou: The site it's self was nice,good clean facilities,nice location,liked the hard standing pitches.

Não gostou: I was very disappointed and upset to learn that the clubhouse and swimming pool were closed,these facilities were the reason why myself and my family with children and our friends specifically booked to travel to this site,I was annoyed to find out also that both club/pool had been closed for some time.It was a shame that it let a nice site down.

Do gestor: we can only apologize as the power was down dew to the bad storms we had that week so the pool and the bar could not be open the electricians are working on it as we speak and all will be good for the weekend 11.05.2024 but if you would like to come again I am sure we can sort out a free night or something or a meal in our restaurant etc. for your inconvenience park manger

Gostou: Clean toilet/shower facilities

Não gostou: Lovely little site, clean toilet/shower facilities. Had a fab weekend with family and friends, the sunshine definitely helped. HOWEVER, we purposely booked this site as indoor pool and bar/club house were listed on the facilities. When first guest from our group arrived they were informed that the pool and bar were both closed due to roof damage/no power. Later into our stay we was told that the bar hasn't been open since last year and the pool hasn't been open for a long time. Not one of us in our party received any info informing us of this. On the Sunday of our stay we noticed that the pool and bar had both been removed from the facilities list on pitchup but info of these facilities were still included in the description of the site. Very disappointed that these were fausly advertised
