喜欢: The place was fabulous, the owners so helpful and friendly! The whole place is fenced/walled in so you can let the kids explore without worry and even our young dog could wander to his hearts content. All the cleaning products and washing up things are already there so no need to bring with you. Kids loved the play area! Clean and tidy outside and inside. Beautiful views and peace and quiet. Just be aware - There is NO mobile signal unless on a certain provider (we weren’t) Wifi did randomly drop out but to be honest it was nice being left alone for a week.

喜欢: Fantastic location and a different family experience with Bothy accommodation. Bothy’s was lovely, a good size even with a family of 7 with good amenities and provision of basics. Made to feel very welcome by Rob and Claire (and the dogs) and Rob gave recommendations of things to do locally. Unfortunately the cloud only gave us one fully clear night for stargazing, although we had a good view of meteors. View from the Bothy is stunning and there are plenty of local trails for walking/running. Site is well placed for visiting Kielder reservoir and Hadrians Wall and the local scenery is stunning. If you’re happy to venture a little further then the east coast is just over an hour away. Alnwick Castle and the Beach at Bamburgh are a must and I highly recommend the boat trips to the islands from Seahouses.

喜欢: The warm welcome, beautiful setting and simply appointed bothy. It had everything we needed and Claire and Rob were very welcoming of our dog. Our boys had a fantastic time as well and have asked to come back next year.

喜欢: Grounds, location, staff were easily reachable and attentive to any issues, pellet boiler worked a treat to keep us warm, the views were stunning

不喜欢: Comfort downstairs, not much comfortable seating especially if there were more adults in our group.

来自经理: Hi, Thank you for your review. It is not our usual style to respond to reviews as they are In the whole very positive, but all-though yours are not negative pa-say. You have marked us down a bit on value for money and cleanliness. I agree that we are probably not the best value for a small family that takes up only half the bed-spaces (we sleep 8) and you were just 4. So therefore our prices are aimed at groups, larger families or 2 families sharing, We are building 2 more Bothies over this winter that will sleep just 4 and they will be priced more to suit Smaller Families or Groups. If we have dropped the ball on cleanliness I can only apologise, this is not the normal for us as mainly it is Myself and Claire doing all the servicing. This weekend however Claire was away so maybe am not quite as good as her at it. I note that you would return and recommend friends so i am pleased with that. Thank you because your feedback keeps us on our toes.

喜欢: The views are lovely, area really pretty. The owners Rob and Claire are really nice and take the time to point you in the right directions. Roads are nice and lots of possibility to go off road with bike. Bothy is nice and cozy.
