What’s not to love about this campsite? Forest View Inn Caravan Park has a mini-farm chock full of friendly animals just waiting to welcome your kids – and there’s something for adults too, as the site has its own pub. Set on the outer edges of Delamere Forest in Cheshire, pitching up here also gives you access to all the forest’s walking and cycling routes. On this friendly, family-run camping and caravanning site, there is a scattering of large, non-electric grass and gravel tent pitches, all with spectacular forest views and surrounded by seasonal wild flowers. The pitches share facilities with the main campsite – they’re no more than a couple of minutes’ walk – and The Forest View country pub is about the same distance away. It opens for food from late afternoon during the week, and from lunchtime onwards at the weekend. Kids are welcome, and there’s always a traditional guest ale on tap. If the weather is playing ball, sit outside on the terrace, and if not, there’s plenty of seating inside. Of course the kids will want to meet the emus, chickens, pigs, goats and donkeys on the mini-farm too, so the chances are you won’t get to stay for long in the pub.

喜欢: staff at the pub and campsite were so lovely especially shelly who was so helpful and let us borrow a charger the views were amazing and it wasn't too busy or crowded. the farm animals were lovely to see and well taken care of. bathrooms were clean and great water pressure they provided the necessary dish washing bits which was a lovely add on

不喜欢: only disappointment was the weather had to leave a day early but nothing to do with the site it's self would've stayed longer if had the time off work

喜欢: Stayed two nights as it’s close to Oulton Park Circuit.The site is pleasantly quiet and basic. Toilet and shower block clean. The people running the pub and the locals were so incredibly welcoming and friendly. I had an awesome couple of evenings there. Definitely going back there the next time I visit Oulton Park. Great value for money.

喜欢: Lovely quiet site as I visited in the week. Friendly owners who made sure I had everything I needed. The washing up area with washing up liquid provided was a nice touch as I had forgot to bring it.

喜欢: Location to Delamere Forest, pub on site, friendly staff.

不喜欢: Showers were very dirty, grass for tent pitch we were given was poor and unmaintained with lots of dirt patches. For £20 for a 1 person tent for 1 night I expected clean showers and a decent pitch.
