喜欢: Wilderness feel! Great location and amazing views. Spring water that we boiled. Portaloo kept clean by regular visits by very friendly farmer who also sold a bag of good small logs for £10

喜欢: It’s a farmers field site so basic but clean facilities. Amazing panoramic views literally all around you. Access to and through the site was good even though the ground was sodden from rain. Only a few miles from the M6 so the area is easy to reach.
不喜欢: Not to do with the farmer himself but we did get lost trying to get to the site because the satnav takes you over a small thin bridge that camper vans are to large to cross so had to go round and then the satnav sent us to odd places but persevere as the views are worth it.

喜欢: Smashing view just a bit exposed for the weather we had while there. Shower surprisingly good for being in a portaloo shell.
不喜欢: The very narrow bridge when coming from the west (Kendal).
