喜欢: Great friendly staff both at check in and site manager who came over. Clean toilet block

不喜欢: Not enough pitches so had to squeeze between two. Site manager couldn’t understand why there was too many for the allocation despite querying it with reception.

喜欢: Great site with plenty of facilities, had dinner and breakfast at the bistro, food was good and dogs allowed and made to feel welcome and not a burden unlike some other ‘dog friendly sites’ bus stop just down the road to get into st Ives if needed. Great location

不喜欢: Toilet/shower blocks abit unkept but was a busy couple of nights we stayed so possibly just hard to keep up with the traffic

喜欢: Great location for the beautiful beach! Easy walk to the bus stop and Lidl. We stayed in a campervan so location was important as didn’t want to move the van until it was time to go home.

喜欢: Excellent location, close to beach and scenic place's to walk. Lots of things to do.

不喜欢: The communal showers were really filthy most of the time. No wifi for touring

喜欢: Outstanding views and only 2 min from beach Great walks along 3 miles of beautiful beach with amazing sunsets The camp site was very clean and well laid out.

不喜欢: We didnt use the club houses as these seemed very expensive. There is a little shop on site but again your paying well over the odds. However there is a Lidl less than 5 mins away so I wouldn't let that put you off.

喜欢: Lovely flat pitches, close to amenaties, short 10 minute walk through sand dunes to a 3 mile deserted dog friendly beach, sea views from most pitches👍😀

When you can prise the kids away from the beach, chances are they may demand to be taken to Flambards Theme Park (25 minutes’ drive) to explore the Victorian Village and experience Britain in the Blitz, run riot on the thrill rides and dig for fossils at Dino Dig. For a sneaky lesson in Cornish history, spend time on the immersive Dark Walk at Bodmin Jail Attraction (50 minutes) and take a look around the dank prison cells, or travel back to Tudor times with Elizabethan-themed workshops at National Trust-owned Trerice (40 minutes). Come right back up to date with a tour of the masterpiece works of contemporary art at Tate St Ives (20 minutes). If it’s animal-related activities you’re after, meet rescue owls at the Screech Owl Sanctuary (40 minutes), or feed the seals at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (half an hour). Take an underground safari to see sharks and colourful shoals of tropical fish at Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay (40 minutes), and see big cats in spacious enclosures at Newquay Zoo (35 minutes).
