喜欢: This was an amazing place to stay, clean, friendly, dog friendly & Sarah & team were very accommodating & helpful. Loved the grub hut,, with an awesome breakfast & pizza’s on Saturday evening. It’s also just down the road from the aqua park, which was epic, Milky Way, for younger ones & big sheep adventures, great location for beautiful beaches too. Overall definitely a place to stay. 🥰

不喜欢: I actually had no dislikes about Livit adventures, yet I believe 2-4 shower/toilet cubicles in top field would be nice, for middle of the night or busy season,,, not a complaint yet a suggestion ♥️

Satellite navigation may not bring you all the way to Westacott Farm, so please follow these directions. From Bideford, take the A39 towards Bude and Clovelly. Staying on the A39, go straight across Abbotsham roundabout. Take the first right, then turn right at the next junction. About half a mile up the road, turn right into Westacott Farm. From Cornwall, take the A39 to Kilkampton. Pass through higher Clovelly, Buck’s Cross and Fairy Cross, then take the second left. Turn right at the next junction and, about half a mile up the road, turn right into Westacott Farm. When you arrive at Westacott Farm, turn right and head for the top field. Look for the tipi village – you will find the site team there, and can park near the tents.

Once you’re settled, you’re all ready to get out surfing and kitesurfing in Westward Ho! (10 minutes’ drive), or wakeboarding at the North Devon Wake Park (15 minutes). There’s no need to haul a heap of kit along with you, as the glampsite also owns an activity company where you can hire surfboards, wetsuits and paddleboards. Abbotsham village, home to The Big Sheep theme park, is five minutes’ drive; Bideford’s steamship, museums and galleries are a touch further at 10 minutes’ drive. The Milky Way Adventure Park, another day out to enthral the smaller humans in your life, is 10 minutes away too. Join the Tarka Trail for long-distance biking and walking on a 32-mile path running from Braunton to Barnstaple, then turn sights to Exmoor National Park (40 minutes) for meanders across misty moorland, keeping eyes out for the famed wild ponies as you go. If gentler activities appeal, scenic strolls can be had in the traffic-free village of Clovelly (15 minutes), around the gorgeous flower displays at RHS Garden Rosemoor (25 minutes) or through Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum (40 minutes).
