Hook Farm Campsite

喜欢: The site is set over different levels which makes it very attractive. The pitch size was huge. Very peaceful. Toilets and showers very clean. Wardens were really nice. There is a little shop however didn't use it so unsure of the selection. Food vans arrived on different nights with different offerings. Walk yo the pub is downhill (approx 5 mins). Lovely 40 min walk which was pretty flat to Lyme Regis. Would definatt stay again. 10/10

喜欢: Overall a positive experience, facilities were very nice and super clean, we thought the dishwashing station was particularly good. Good location, the walk into Lyme Regis is really nice and all along a footpath so no worries about walking down country roads with cars. We had a non electric simple pitch, the location was private and quiet and had a gorgeous view. Staff in the reception and shop were very friendly and helpful throughout.

不喜欢: Wouldn’t have expected to have to pay extra for the showers and having to rely on exact 20p coins for this was slightly annoying. The other thing that could have improved the site for us would have been a bit more flexibility on arrival times, we actually had to find an alternative campsite for our first night because we got stuck in traffic and would have arrived after 8pm which is their last cutoff for letting people into the site (even though it’s june and is still light after that time for pitching). They do clearly state the arrival times on the website to be fair to them, but plenty of other sites offer more leniency on this and it did make the drive down quite stressful having to seek an alternative site when it became clear we wouldn’t make it on time.

喜欢: Clean & hot showers. Nicely laid out with pitches scattered around the park, with good views for sunrise and sunset. Friendly, helpful owners. Beautiful countryside, walking distance to Lyme Regis. Will definitely return.

喜欢: We only stayed there a night but will be coming back! Pitches were great, facilities were immaculate and staff very friendly. A well stocked onsite shop too! We didn’t take the walk into Lyme Regis but went there in the car, which only took 10 mins (if that). A great place and will be returning for sure!

喜欢: Very easy to find and a friendly welcome on arrival. The pitch was a good size and amazing views. The facilities were very clean and well kept. Loved the addition of freezer for your ice blocks. A very peaceful site

喜欢: This is a beautiful campsite surrounded with trees. We heard owls amd woodpeckers and saw bats flitting about. The facilities were clean and numerous and the shop well stocked. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was just a short drive from Lyme Regis beach front and there's lots to do nearby. I recommend this site to families and nature lovers.
