喜欢: Absolutely loved our two night stay at this site, we met both of the owners and they we're extremely outgoing, and had a very nice pop up shop at the entrance with any little bits you may have forgotten! The ground was perfect, we pitched up fairly high and had amazing views of the sunsets and sunrises. Walking to Bowleze Cove was lovely but very hilly and takes around 40 minutes. Closest shop to you is probably the SPAR or Applebys, both have great stock in them. Lovely pub fairly close as well that do a good pint and a full English. We will definitely be visiting this site again next year!

喜欢: The best thing about this campsite was that you could arrive whenever you wanted and choose a pitch by yourself. At all the others, you're so inflexible because you have to arrive by 5 pm or some other set time. Here, everything was very straightforward. Arrive, set up, and the next day, someone comes around to collect fees. That worked wonderfully and is a reason to come back. The site is very spacious; there was plenty of room to set up.

不喜欢: The toilets and showers are very basic, but I'm not sensitive, and I find it okay for the price. Especially because you can come whenever you want. I just wonder if the small number of sanitary facilities is sufficient when the whole place is full. What I didn't like was that the dishwashing station wasn't covered. When we were there, it was raining heavily, and it would have been nice not to get soaked while washing dishes. Perhaps an idea to build a small shelter. That would be sufficient. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi, which is always a downside for me. During vacation, you sometimes want to edit or upload photos, plan the next leg of the journey, and without Wi-Fi, it's not possible. But, unfortunately, it's not available at most campsites.

喜欢: Ease of coming and going. No fuss, old school camping.

不喜欢: No hot water for washing up, shower pressure quite low.

不喜欢: Curtains on the shower cubicles instead of doors, no where to hang even a towel , absolutely no privacy
