喜欢: Little gem of a campsite. Quiet location just next to Gatehouse of Fleet village. Excellent facilities, especially the toilet/shower block which in my opinion is 5* for a touring site. Very reasonable rates for tent pitch with electric hook-up. Also was very surprised to learn that the booking gave us access to the facilities at Auchenlarie Holiday Park. Definitely going to visit again.

喜欢: Warm welcome, excellent/supberb facilities, great location.

不喜欢: Would prefer a marked pitch, but that's only a very minor detail.

来自经理: Thank you for your kind comments. We only mark out the pitches when it is really busy, if its not as busy we tend not to mark out the grass pitches so as to give the customer a bit more room. Hopefully we will see you again in the future.

喜欢: What a gem of a park. Facilities gold star and lovely quiet site to unwind and relax. Plenty of walks nearby for the dogs and the local pubs great for a light refreshment.

喜欢: Lovely quiet site, staff very friendly and helpful. The toilet/shower facilities are the best I've ever seen, each cubicle is self contained with a toilet, shower and basin. There is a washer and dryer and also a iron and ironing board which I have never seen at a campsite.

喜欢: Excellent small and friendly site within easy walking distance to Gate House of Fleet centre with its lovely cafes and pubs surrounded by beautiful scenery and lovely beaches Mossyard, Cardoness and Laggan are must do visits.

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes later, Gatehouse of Fleet is signposted on the right and you'll find Anwoth Holiday Park in the west of the town. From the North (M74) to Dumfries (A75), travel to Gatehouse of Fleet along the A75.

Paul, Neil and Bob (the latest generation of Swalwells to own Amwoth Caravan Park) also suggest a look at Whithorn, on the southern tip of the Machars peninsula and the seat of Christianity in Scotland, and at Lochmaben as the birthplace of Robert the Bruce. And if you like reading Rabbie, you might also like to see Dumfries, home and resting place for famed Scottish poet Robert Burns. Ecclefechan, the birth town of Thomas Carlyle, is also within reach – do be sure to have an Ecclefechan butter tart while you're there.
